LinkedIn Profile - Nearly 2000 followers in 25 days
LinkedIn Profile is coming along nicely
I am so encouraged by how quick and easy it's been to grow my LinkedIn profile since I optimised my profile and started growing my connections.
In less than a month I have over 2000 Connections.
(I had 171 connections when I started building LinkedIn on 11th April).
Even more encouraging is how the following stats have grown:
430 - The number of people who've viewed my profile.
83 - Post Views
43 - Search Appearances
Is LinkedIn sending visitors to my blogs?
I'm not seeing major corresponding leaps in my Google Analytics except for my youngest site where LinkedIn is my 2nd top performing social network and I've had a 100% increase in referrals in the last 30 days.
It's time for me to write another blog post on LinkedIn, to send targeted traffic.
Affiliate Links in LinkedIn?
I also haven't sent an increase in referrals to Wealthy Affiliate, but I was nervous to add a direct affiliate link into my LinkedIn post.
Question for experienced LinkedIn Users...
Do you add affiliate links into the Articles you post via LinkedIn Publisher?

Thanks Louisa! Nope, I didn't. I just optimised my profile, adding an article in LinkedIn Publisher and started seeking out like-minded connections.

Really great response Lauren. I have wondered about LinkedIn and what type of reaction I would receive.
I think you are walking on thin ice if you start posting affiliate links. I have posted from my website articles with no affiliate links to share a story and it increased traffic. I think for one article over 800 LinkedIn members engaged.
That is my opinion from my experience.

Heya Shwana, yes! Go for it. It was unbelievably quick. Even faster than Instagram.
