My pet peeve is NO RESPONSE, I can handle rejection very well but would like to at least be granted enough respect for a response. That doesn't seem to be the case all too ofte
I have been waiting since July and August. I have much more content now and will reapply to a few of them now and see how it goes.
Imagine the number of applicants they must receive. Its not personal, simply reapply or you can forward your initial email to them and indicate that uou had not yet heard from them.
You're bound to get a reply to that!
Secondly, consider whether you will want to do business with someone who cant seem to reply in a timely manner, unless they give you an reasonable explanation as to why you didnt hear from the initially.
Rudy
It's ok if it is personal, I'm new I get it. I just like an answer! I may forward the initial email like you indicated and go from there. Thanks for the advice once again you guys are great.

Yeah, at the network level, we're frustrated by that too. We encourage them to review their affiliates on a regular basis (I always did when I was an affiliate manager) but some are better than others.
There's often a variety of reasons
- New staff who needs to learn how to do it
- Understaffed - we all know about the turnover problem!
- So many applications! - The most popular programs can receive hundreds of applications each week
- Picky about who they work with; some want to take a lot of time to review each site before making a decision
- Growing the program slowly, so they don't want to add too many affiliates at one time.
What can you do?
You can always send an email to the merchant, to the affiliate manager, or to the account manager at the network asking about your application and emphasizing about why you would be the ideal affiliate for them. It can work, sometimes.
If you still haven't heard back, apply to their competitor! Very few merchants have no competition!

Good morning everyone,
I have been getting a little more traffic to my website and a few people have reached out to see if I wanted to join them but not many. This morning
I am very happy to say that the letter was legitimately from a merchant who wanted to work more closely with one of their affiliates. Don't be shocked that this can happen! I'm very proud of the merchants we have on ShareASale.com!
Guess what! It was a legitimate offer from one of the ShareASale merchants. They liked the site and wanted to do a special promotion in conjunction with an affiliate!
I’m glad it was real and not spam…it’s getting harder and harder to tell these days.
-Mike
She didn't show that the merchant signed the letter with their name and full contact information, which matched the information shown in the ShareASale profile for that merchant. That would have helped you evaluate the validity of the offer.
Most of the time those kinds of emails and offers are just spam. You don’t get any benefit placing that link on your website.
Yes, I always check source before proceeding vs email / text message or comment etc.
You, friends and family don't count towards Amazon. You do not receive commission.
Also Amazon has very strict rules.
I don't quite understand your statement above, but I was wondering something since I am and Amazon Affiliate! If I promote a certain item on my website via (product link) and a family member or friend go to my website and purchase through my link for the product, will I receive commission? Will this also count towards my 3 sales in 180 days? TIA.
Kevin and Son
I was a little confused with that and how they could attain that information if it was like my mother-in-law which obviously has a different last name.
Kevin and Son
Thank you I just didn't know if I could have friends or distant family do this action in order to get my 3 sales. I know it would accrue much revenue on my behalf but wanted to keep from having to sign up again.
Thank you so much,
Kevin and Son

Can anyone tell me how I can log into my WordPress by not going through the Wealthy affiliate platform?
You can get your website login details form the Build My Website page:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites
Under the "Details" link for your given websites, you will be able to get your admin login details, which I think is what you are after here.
Let us know if you have any further questions. ;)
[domain].com/wp-admin - of course you need to collect your credentials via site support prior.
And of course replacing domain with yours.

Me again with the same issue. I have been going back and forth with Pinterest help center for a few days now. All of the great advice from my WA support has been very helpful b
Thanks for being so helpful. I am just venting I think. I have wasted almost a week trying to install a tag instead of writing content. It's putting me behind and very frustrating. I have only been at it for about 5 months now and I run into obstacles daily that I have resolved with WAs help and just simply figuring it out on my own, but I can't this time and don't know where to turn.
Sorry Abie, I have not been online all weekend as I had my grandkids. Unfortunately, I have not resolved this issue and just continue to not use Pinterest for the time being and concentrate on my content writing.
are you trying to do pinterest shopping
i was under the assumption you were trying to verify your website ...
shopping will indeed need a page or two of products as they import them automatically and give you a shopping area...
this is more setup for shopfy sites or etsy or wooocommerce sites...
if you are recommending via a blog then standard pinterest is what you need...and adding unique pins for each of your blogs - or several uniques pins per blog...
i have just looked at my pinterest account and i can create ads...
it may be due to the fact that i verified my site ages ago, but have part business account ...
i have not gone through hte whole process of creating an ad, but would assume i can complete this....
so make sure you have verified your site with pinterest and have hte business side activated and you should be able to create ads...
I am simply trying to install my Pinterest tag onto my WordPress blog. That's it!! I have been on Pinterest for years but converted to a business account 3 months ago and everything was great. I apparently never installed the tag on my site and that's what I was trying to do. Last week for some reason all of these error messages appeared on my Pinterest that I didn't understand so I reached out to WA.
I am getting ERROR 404 when I try to retrieve my coding to install in the header. They responded with I have no products to sell!!!
so you have been to settings >>claimed accounts and your website is listed there...
if not then i have just tried ad inserter and it won't recognize that the tag is placed as it is at the bottom of hte head section...( too far down for it to read it )
so i used the html file and file manager plugin to add it to my root directory...it then verified ok...
after this is says about adding the tracking tag to google tag manager - if you have that then add it to google tag manager...
I have claimed my website and have even been getting lots of traffic through Pinterest...up until last week when I installed Tag Manager.
have you been following this installation...
https://help.pinterest.com/en-gb/business/article/google-tag-manager-and-pinterest-tag
And as I indicated earlier my response regarding this issue from Pinterest was.
Tag health is applicable for users who is selling products on their websites. If you have any products listed on your website please write back to us with a product webpage URL so that we can check and help you further with more information on how to improve the tag health.
I cannot move forward I have been stuck there. They don't even answer my question!!LOL
that's what i got.. so i tried analytics conversion insights and it asked me to sign up for ads again..
i don't remember my password so will work on it...
Thanks again for all of your help. I realize you don't work at Pinterest and I appreciate what you are doing.
but the tag is used for a conversion and that can be defined as someone clicking on a promoted pin and gonig to your site to signup...
so it is just about tracking clicks...
i will keep going and see where it takes me..

I am looking for some instructions on how to place my Pinterest tag code between the <head> and <head>. I don't know what that means or how to do it. This may seem
Hi,
It’s probably better to insert your Pinterest code in your sites header using the ad inserter or header footer plugin.
If you let Site Support do it you can loose the code if your theme, etc. updates.
if it won't work in your seo plugin then if you know where to get the code from in pinterest then you can use the ad inserter plugin... Google verification in four easy steps from 2:47 onwards is relevant for the ad inserter plugin...
You can use the Ad Inserter plugin, as you do not want to edit your themes files directly as you will lose your changes when the theme updates or if you change your theme. How To Use The Ad Inserter Plugin Or you may use Headers and Footers plugin. Why Use Headers and Footers Plugin
