Whew. Lucky mine is, at the moment.

Thanks, how do I know if it's mobile compatible?

Thanks, appreciate the input

Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the tip.

Thank you for shaping! Does it say anywhere on my Page if its mobile friendly or not?

Thanks! I did the test, and my page is not mobile friendly. So now I'm working on making it so ;)

Thank you, Marv ;) i'm trying to figure it out.. I am reading Google's guidance to word press, how to make my word press page mobile friendly. Then I log into my page, and it says I have one update, when I click on that it says:
"You have the latest version of WordPress. Future security updates will be applied automatically.
If you need to re-install version 4.1.1, you can do so here or download the package and re-install manually"
but the sign for update is still there.. I guess I'm to tired to understand anything right now. How do I change the theme on my page?

Woohoo! Thanks a million Marv!! I installed the plug in and now my page are mobile friendly!! A milestone is reached :)

Thank you :) I'll keep this for the future, right now I just installed the pluggin, and it seems to be working:)

Thanks for the guidance.

Are WA's themes all compatible? If not, how can we tell which ones to use to be Google responsive?

You can test your site here. https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/
I just installed WPtouch plugin and it worked for my theme.

Inside the wordpress.org or when you search for a new theme look for the term responsive or responsive layout.

If you click Appearance>>themes and look at your installed themes, click on Theme details and check the description for responsive.

thanks for the heads up

Thanks for the great details.

Thanks Steve.

Thanks Labman, will do.

Saw that too. Fortunately I checked and both my sites are mobile user friendly. I would hate the idea of having to move, especially my niche site which has 66 pages, to another theme. Meh.

Where will I be able to check this? Thank you ☺

Mona, go to: http://tinyurl.com/plkjaz5

key your url into the test box and then click on "Analyze"

Ok, thanks alot TheOldSilly!

Welcome :-)

ok.... when it turns out my page is not mobile friendly.. What do I do? How do I change that?

Google the matter, I would. Here's a good article on it I found right off the bat: https://www.imforza.com/blog/how-to-make-a-mobile-friendly-website/

thanks :) There should have been an overview where you choose the theme when you first start building your own website.. But I'll try to figure it out ;)

Sure wish you luck. I was just lucky, it seems, I didn't choose themes with any thought about mobile user friendliness.

Thanks! Well, I guess I'm lucky in one way, cause I just started, so I haven't built anything on my page yet, I just set it up:) So I guess I'll just have to make it mobile friendly before I start building content on it :)

Thanks for sharing the information.

Thanks for the headsup.

Phew, I'm glad I bit the bullet earlier this year and changed themes. Not excited about the new theme but......it works.

Yes, I have already taken the action to conform to this new policy by Google.

Thank you for the post!

George
