WA Website Goes Kaput!
Attention Affiliates (and members):
Our website is being redirected as of today, to our dashboard login page. Prospective customers will be able to see what the new WA looks like in the background, but will not be able to log in. Here is what it will look like if you are not already logged into WA.
From there, there is a join button along with a "Learn more" link which goes to our blog page explaining what "The Open Education Project" is.

Frankly, it no longer makes sense to send people to the old, dated content on our homepage. It is confusing, overtly sales (some say it makes us feel like any other "info scam" out there), so we are moving to a page that accurate describes what we are in a brief, yet concise manner.
What this means as an affiliate?
Well, it means that your links will now go to a page that accurately represents Wealthy Affiliate. It will not impact your links or your tracking, however any links that you have going to pages within the old WA website are now going to be redirected to this page, for the time being.
This page is far more representative of WA as our homepage has become outdated with the vastness of the updates that have recently taken place at Wealthy affiliate. Affiliates are going to be in their glory days very soon...not only are you promoting the best training and support (and tools) in the industry you are going to be able to do so within a brand new website...
Yes, WealthyAffiliate.com is getting an OVERHAUL!
Yes, we are going to update our website...and do so in a drastic way. We are also going to be updating the process in which people sign-up, drastically! For affiliates, this is going to mean unlimited potential, and we will divulge a lot more information as we move closer to a roll out date (likely mid May, perhaps earlier).
Anyways, please know that our website is going to look different, but your affiliate links are of course always going to work and track your sales properly. We are about a month away from the "affiliate dream"...awesome things on the horizon.

I like being able to log on and go right into talking to you, Carson and members of WA. It not only forces us to have to do it. But we don't forget to be social while we are coming in and out of the community for information and training.
I agree, it is far more social now and the is much more incentive to connect, being that you easily can comprehend when someone responds to you. Before, messaging got lost within the system.
Lots of awesome stuff to come.
I like it, specially the was you get to see the live chat, may get some people just watching the chat hitting refresh every 30 seconds.
Not sure if giving them visitor access to report a bug is good or not.
Yeah, external bug reporting is probably not the best idea...thanks for catching that Craig. They don't have to refresh, they can actually see the live chat and dashboard changes as they happen :) I think it will have people wanting to see the whole package, this is just a temporary update however until we come out with something much, much better. :)

Kyle says WP is still there. Well it is and I sure as heck hope it stays there. I love it and the convenience of access at WA. One thing I like is that when you switch to WP, your pics are still on the server. So pages are easy to transfer just by copying the HTML. John
Hey Kyle, this is being expected since everything in WA is experiencing reformation and transformation. I hope you will also consider new WA blog funnel since the old one has been used by members in diferent ways and can no longer be indexed by search engines. Likewise, put into consideration new ways and methods that we affiliates can use to promote WA.
You will see some awesome changes, and some awesome new potential for affiliates. Updates to follow in this regard.
As for the blog and funnel, we have removed that system from WA because (a) it was duplicate content (b) it encourage laziness (c) it was not personalized to any one members experience. If you are going to promote WA, you are far better off promoting your site from scratch, your experiences, what you do, what you see, what you like, what you create, and what you achieve. This is what people from the outside want to hear, not some canned website...

Yeah, far more social. More social, means easier to communicate. Easier to communicate, means easier to solve problems and educate oneself....which ultimately leads to great success. :)
