How to Find Keywords for a Website?
People tend to over-think the concept of finding keywords. If you give me a few seconds of your time here (actually 6 minutes) I am going to show you how to find keywords for a website in ANY niche.
There are many tools and services available to us that are completely free and can help with the keyword research process. Often times it is difficult to come up with a keyword or a phrase out of thin air. I know... and that is the reason I use tools to help simplify this process. I leverage a company that has more keyword data than any other company in the world.
Any guesses who that would be?
You got it. GOOGLE!
Within this video I am going to take two completely random niches, two niches which I have not been involved in nor have I ever created a campaign within, and find a good deal of quality keywords very quickly.This tackles the "keyword revelation" component of your research. After you have found your keywords, you want to find out whether or not a keyword meets the criteria for being a quality keyword.
This is how you choose a "quality" keyword that has a good chance of getting ranked in search engines:
(1) Over 50 monthly searches (I tend to think that over 50 is OK)
(2) Ideally 200 competition (View Result @ WA, or QSR @ Jaaxy.com)
If it meets this criteria, you should create content around that particular keyword. Using the Alphabet Soup Technique (as outlined in the video) with a keyword tool like the one here at WA or Jaaxy, you have access to an unlimited number of keywords within ANY niche.

This is a really widespread technique here and, of course, very simple and effective.

Simple, just the way I like to do things. People spend hours doing the same thing in a more complicated way...whereas keyword research within any niche can be accomplished in minutes, not hours.
This technique can be used to reveal brand new niches as well, even some of the most obscure yet profitable niches.
Yes, this is something I learned here, kw research is known as a hard time consuming task but it isn't.
I have a website written on a notepad here and I don't remember from whom I got it, but surely was on a blog post within the community.

You just type a key phrase and it shows instantly tons of suggestions with all letters and numbers that follows it.
Yes, ubersuggest works wonderfully as well. That site has been around for as long as I can remember and offers a good way to dig and find keywords. One advantage that Google has is that within their instant results they trigger the most popular searches "right now" which can be helpful insight into a niche.

Yep I like it too Luke, a lot. Different people absorb in different ways don't they? I like text as long as it's either got lots of white space or pictures [lol] so I can break concepts up in my head to absorb. But I really love video and what adds 100% to this one for me is the pace which is nice and steady but not too slow and also the clarity of the screen shot. Fab.

I keep forgetting about this technique. A great way for find keywords people are searching for RIGHT NOW! Will have to start doing this than keep relying on "digging" for new ones on the keyword tool.

I'd gotten kind of used to doing the alphabet thing following a likely keyword. Now I'll remember to play the alphabet game with a word in Front of the keyword too. Thx !
Yeah, preceding the phrase works wonderfully as well. It is excellent for "question" style keywords, date specific keywords, best type keywords, etc.
