How Simple AI Videos Are Banking on YouTube!
YouTube is witnessing a wave of simple AI-driven content that is both engaging and surprisingly profitable. One clear example is how creators are using minimal resources to produce eye-catching videos that capture viewer interest and generate revenue.
A Personal Touch
Every now and then, I tune into watch "would you rather" videos with my daughters. They love the quick transitions between different scenes, whether it's rooms, food, or books...quite often generated by AI.
Their excitement, even without knowing the tech behind it, is proof that simple concepts can truly win over an audience.
Her eis an example of a "Short" on Youtube, and what I am referring to:
This video has alone 523,000 views, and 629 comments. One "short", simply comparing different types of food.
So who is behind this particular video? I think it is going to surprise you.
Spotlight on the SIMPLE VoteVerse Account...
One channel that stands out is VoteVerse. Despite having just THREEE YouTube Shorts (you read that correctly), they have gathered over 3K followers and have reached monetization by crossing the 1,000 subscriber threshold on Youtube (meaning, they can make money from their videos).
One standout video on the channel and one of the three videos, is the one I mentioned above. 523,000 views. With those numbers, a single video could potentially earn up to $5K. This clearly demonstrates that even a small library of well-crafted AI-generated videos can attain a significant viewership, and get a great deal of reach on the Youtube platform.
Take a look at one of these shorts here (which will lead to them earning more money lol).
How This Formula Works...
Simple AI videos are banking on a very straightforward formula:
- Engaging Content: Quick, visual choices keep viewers hooked.
- Minimal Resources: With basic AI tools, creators can produce multiple scenes in one go.
- High Monetization Potential: Even channels with a handful of videos are proving profitable by leveraging the YouTube algorithm.
This strategy is a great example of how you do not need a massive library of content to see substantial returns. The focus is on delivering engaging visuals quickly and effectively.
The rise of AI-driven videos shows that sometimes, simplicity is key.
Whether you're a seasoned Youtube creator or just starting out, using basic AI to generate content can be a smart way to connect with viewers and monetize your efforts.
If you are considering expanding your YouTube presence, this trend is one that you can take advantage of. You have lots of Youtube training, classes, tutorials and experts you can lean on here within WA to get up and running with your campaigns as well (with an entire community coming soon).
Have you seen any simple AI based videos raking in the views (and revenue) on Youtube lately?

Good morning Kyle,
I haven't seen that many AI videos, as I'm not a particular fan of them and normally I'm looking for information more than entertainment, but I know where you're coming from. The facts are also very interesting, as in views and subscribers, etc. I did also see Boris's comments about the monetisation.
Just for example, if I see an AI video about Wealthy Affiliate, I want to see a face and someone who has had genuine experience on the subject, not an AI created video. The type of videos I'm talking about is like a classic AI post made into a video. Let's delve into Wealthy Affiliate ecosystem, I just stumbled upon, for example! Now I do know that you are talking about something different, so I'm sure in some cases and as your example shows, AI videos can work.
Have a fantastic day and thank you for the post.
Roy
Thanks for sharing this post, Kyle 🤩
From my experience runnign two faceless YouTube channels, if you publish only YT shorts on your channel, you can monetize it having just 500 subscribers, but you need to get 3 million views in 3 months.
Also RPM for YT shorts is extrimely low - $ 0,1 maximum
For 500k views you can get $50 maximum.
To earn $5k your channel will need to generate 50 million views of YT shorts.
Another downside of YT shorts that you cannot input web links in comments and descriptions of shorts - YouTube removed this feature about a year ago.
Just saying...
Best,
Boris
Yeah, right. Forgot about the 3MM limit. Thanks for the clarification.
There were many others doing this, but I tried to find one that was doing it in a much more limited fashion to show how such simple videos can gain such traction. You can do a search in youtube and see all the "would you rather" style videos.
And thanks for the clarification on the payouts through RPM's. I have heard of videos getting $10K-$30K from a million views, but as you indicate shorts do pay less.
By no means am I recommending shorts as the focus with monetization, rather, the simplicity of the creating content like this and how people out there are getting mass views (and in some cases, revenue).
Monetization on Youtube comes in many forms. :)
Yes, this is a great way to monetize with Adsense, sponsorships, digital products, services, etc., as I do on some of my channels. Some of my channels have millions of subscribers and billions of views already, with some having under a hundred videos and others a few hundred videos only. Some I use AI with, and others have live people chatting. I even have AI avatars on my training, tuts, how-to videos, online courses, etc.
I am planning to incorporate and implement the knowledge I will gain here into my channels, blogs (a few new ones will be created via WA here), and other social media platforms to have even more high-quality products to promote. I also need to fine-tune some of my blogs for more traffic, higher DA, etc.
One strategy I'm planning for this year is to create a Space Science YouTube channel, with parallel blog posts on my website. It will cover astronomy, cosmology, exoplanets, mysteries of the universe etc. It will also incorporate affiliate marketing for telescopes and astronomy software. And I may make space themed print on demand merchandise too.
I'm currently thinking of writing the scripts, but also trying Ai at it too. Or both. And use things from the NASA library for my videos and blog post
Sound like a great idea - so many people (young and old) are interested in Space Science! Good Luck, Alisa
Nice Post Kyle,
I use a company called WOXO and I only have 30 followers but that is all I post is short 1 minute videos about cabin living and nature. I had 0 followers only a short time back.
There is no possible way I can travel like Eric and Vataily so I let WOXO do the traveling for me and they are very good at what they do.
I am glad you confirmed that AI videos are being well received as I just decided to start doing them hoping for the best and here you are confirming that they are the way to go.
I have tested at least 5-10 different AI video makers out there and there are just a handful that are decent so you have to be careful who you choose. My advice to anyone reading this is that if they do not let you try it for free first, then I would not trust the product.
Thank you,
Mike
