I just picked up on this, great post and a great way to explain to those on the fence.
I am sure for some it is a big part of the monthly disposable income, but it is worth giving up something else if you can.
The comments of hours spent is valid to a degree, but what about any other hobby etc you take up, you would put time into those too.
Then there is the enjoyment of this "learn", the community too, beats watching TV every night!
So I think spelling it out in simple terms to those that hadn't looked at WA in such ways is spot on.

I think going premium is very good value.
You are basically paying for the web hosting etc and getting the education included for free.
I payed $7000 NZD to study at in the classroom for 1 year and got CompTIA A+ , Network+ and a NZ certificate and not had a return on that investment.
The computer training makes the technical building websites easy to master.
English was my weakest subject and AI is doing a good job of writing most of the blogs for me.
Maybe I will go Premium+ by Christmas or earlier.

That is what it is all about, not just to see value as "eventual output" like making money. If we thought of that only being the only value, then educate would carry no value, services and software would serve no value.
We are shortcutting the education time here, offering industry leading education, and speeding up the pace at which someone can create a business online through technology.

Interesting. I just checked. My cyber blog, which I started when I joined WA almost exactly a year ago has had 288 clicks and now averaging 3-4 clicks a day, So I will get to an average of 2 clicks a day in about 6 months at this rate (but it will get faster).
And I have a second blog that is slowly getting traction.
I have also made over $100 as an Amazon Affiliate since January on a third niche on YouTube traffic.
Failure? Not at all. For lots of reasons, I can't work full time. Not even part time. Family health issues make it more important to learn than worry about making money at the moment. But it is slowly gaining traction.
This is a journey, everybody has their own path to success,

This is a journey, and there are many "forms" of success. Sure, financial output is one of these, but that is not the only "value" that someone is getting personally, from a network perspective, and from an education/skill set side of things.
