Give Away Your Best Ideas for Free.Really?
Are you scared about giving away your best content away for FREE? If so, you are not alone but you have to be careful about "holding back" content that is valuable to your end users, even before they have committed to buying anything through you.
The better the value, the quicker you can build a quality relationship with your audience.
People buy from you when they trust you. When you offer high level of value, without the expectation of anything in return, you are going to establish that trust.
Give away value, and do so with regularity. Your brand, and your revenue will thank you.

I fully agree with you Kyle. I do this in my current PPE niche and it has paid back ten fold.
I even do that here within WA to some extent, by revealing niche ideas gained by thinking outside the box.
A few years ago, right as the 2018 Farm Bill in the U.S. was about to pass, I announced the CBD niche will be huge.
Again in 2018 I wrote a blog, High Visibility Clothing - Can a Color be a Niche? Now High Visibility Clothing is HUGE.
If I had the time to promote all of these niches and not just a couple, I would, but if not, why not share them?
Like the saying goes, It is better to give than to receive.
Awesome, great to hear that you are taking this approach with your PPE niche, you are definitely a natural at this stuff. The thing is you can share opportunity, because it is in abundance around us. I have had 1,000's of ideas that I have simply never had time to take advantage of over the years...why would I fear giving away good ideas?
There should be no fear, and if the fear is that people won't see your "paid" stuff valuable, then I think that is missing the point. They will never get to your paid stuff, or buy things if you are not creating value for them before hand.
We've know since time began that: "It's better to give than to receive". It's a form of "Paying It Forward"!
Just think... if ONLY half the members of our community shared one 'tidbit' of helpful info today...we'd have one million thee hundred and fifty thousand tidbits!
Here's mine:
"Yesterday is a canceled check,
Tomorrow is a Promissory Note,
Only TODAY is negotiable...
How will you 'spend' it?"
-- S. Ditullio
Love that, and thanks for sharing Steve! Giving, without expectation of anything in return creates an environment where others are naturally inclined to do the same thing. A pay-it-forward community for a better word.
Good morning Kyle,
I hope that you are having a good Christmas and hopefully taking a slight break!
Thank you for your wise words, I think this is something that many of us are nervous about. Although, at the same time, I see 100% where you are coming from and it makes huge amounts of sense!
I guess it comes down to honesty paying off, as always!
Have a great day and enjoy the Christmas period.

Same you Roy, I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season!
People have the natural tendency to hold back on value when they are giving it away for free and focus more on selling within their free content. As a result, it becomes much more difficult to build trust with those viewing your content, and it becomes much harder to sell.
So lead with high value stuff, and continue to offer value...and you will have a happy brand, and happy customers.
Good morning Kyle,
Thank you very much! I always enjoy the Christmas season; it's a good time to take some time off and relax!
Thank you for the information, Kyle; it's appreciated. I do hear where you're coming from. I also believe that when we give or tithe generously, it will come back to us! A similar type of principle.
Enjoy the rest of the Christmas season.
Roy
Kyle, thanks for providing this post. I agree about giving value and reaching out to the human side to connect with people. Trust is based on building relationships with your audience. Connecting with them is important. We provide value for free here. Naturally, we should do the same for our audience on our website blog posts. Thanks for this tip. This a good reminder for 2023 not to hold back content.
Absolutely the case, and heading into 2023 if you make this your focus you are going to have a bright year ahead (and a high octane brand being established).

So True nothing makes me lose respect or trust then these websites that talk about free to get started & then you can't even go any further to try & decide if that is what you are looking for without breaking out with you credit card don't lure me in under false pretenses cause then you just lost me I will click out quicker then you & can try & get me to stay as I am so sick of the lying gimmicks. So yes I totally agree trust is big with me!!
Trust is built on value, not promises. Unfortunately so many marketers feel that they can create a promise, and build trust after the fact but the reality is trust and reputation is built a great deal on the value that you simply give people for free. :)
