Beer With Kyle: Using AI to Solve BIGGER Challenges Than Ever

Hey Everyone,

Today, I’m going to be getting into an exciting and ever-evolving topic: artificial intelligence and how it’s helping us solve problems, both big and small...and like never before.

Before we jump into the discussion, let’s talk about this week’s beer.

This Week’s Beer: Pickleball Electrolyte Lager 🍺

This week, I’m trying out the Pickleball Electrolyte Lager from Moon Under Water Brewery, a local favorite here in Victoria, British Columbia. It’s light, crisp, and tastes more like a pilsner than a lager. I’m not quite sure where the electrolytes come into play, but if you’re a pickleball fan, it might be worth a try! Speaking of pickleball, I played my first tournament this past summer, and it was a blast. If you’ve never tried it, I highly recommend giving it a shot.

Now, let’s get into the into the topic of today, AI’s role in problem-solving.

The Power of AI in Problem-Solving

Artificial intelligence has become a powerful tool, not just for content creation or generating images, but for tackling real-world problems in both business and personal life. Whether you’re trying to craft the perfect blog post, streamline your daily tasks, or even solve relationship challenges, AI can help.

Here’s an example I shared recently: I used AI to better understand my daughter’s homework when she couldn’t fully explain her assignment. With just a quick input of the details into an AI tool, I was able to get clear insights and offer her meaningful help.

This is just one of many applications of AI. What I want to encourage you to do is shift your mindset to see AI as a problem-solving tool.

How to Leverage AI for Bigger Challenges

Whenever you’re faced with a challenge, whether it is a personal or professional one, start asking yourself:

  • Can AI help me solve this?
  • What input do I need to provide to get useful results?

AI is already being used to solve specialized problems in fields like technology, health, and education. Here at Wealthy Affiliate, we’ve seen members leveraging AI to create better content, streamline their workflows, and even brainstorm new business ideas.

And as we move into 2025, the capabilities of AI are only going to expand and the knowledge shared here within WA on the topic of AI is only going to expand. The key is to start experimenting and discovering how it can work for you.

A Community for AI Innovation

One of the best parts of being in Wealthy Affiliate is having access to a community of innovators. People here are constantly sharing their AI strategies, tips, and insights. Whether it’s me, Carson, or other members, you’ll find an incredible pool of knowledge to help you get the most out of AI.

In 2025, we’ll be sharing even more AI tools and strategies tailored to help you:

  • Solve problems more efficiently.
  • Free up your time and energy for the areas of your business that matter most.
  • Stay ahead of the curve as AI continues to evolve.

Good morning Kyle,

Thank you for another weekly update, Kyle, it's always appreciated.

I haven't looked at "using AI to understand your kid's homework" yet, but my first thought was is that I'm sure that AI can be used for other issues or struggles, etc.

The future training sounds great, Kyle, as there are many things that I don't understand about AI, but I'm sure with some Wealthy Affiliate training, I could receive a greater understanding of the subject.

One of the things that I would like to know is how to train AI to stop adding all the Asterix, dashes and other bits and pieces that it adds. I normally plain paste something from AI into Microsoft Word and then use the replace feature to remove these unwanted abbreviations. But it's one of those tasks that I'm sure there is a way around.

Have a great weekend.

Roy

That is going to be our goal, to help you understand where AI fits into your life. For each person, there are going to be different applications and uses, but I am finding myself (as I immerse myself more and more in the AI world) looking to AI to see how I can better solve a problem/challenge, versus trying to go at it alone.

I know you have been a skeptic about many aspects of AI, some of which are very fair. But I think when AI came out people just thought "this is going to be bad" and wrote it off as being some evil technology.

In all reality, many of the tasks we are doing now don't need to be done manually...and many of the problems we were unable to solve, we are now going to be able to resolve. We are going to be able to solve bigger problems than ever, and that definitely excites me and should excite everyone.

I don't have enough time in a day without AI.

I have an entire book published on the prompts that I use for niche selection, content outlines, content creation, content review, SEO review, publication, and promotion. (57 Copies Sold)

I recently posted my image creation and promotion tips = I have 5 Active blogs, a 6th in incubation (AI and I are determining the best possible direction for the domain), and two communities in start-up mode.

Lexi creates my lesson plans for any topic that I need to learn and gives them to me in a lesson plan fashion.

Gemini creates my content calendar, which I have a hard time sticking to --->>> "Shiny New Thing Syndrome" on overdrive lately.

Grok is my news source for content updates.

And all of this is crammed into 2 hours a day unless I ignore my wife for the weekend. (That gets expensive)!

AI is answering just about any question, problem, and thought that I have.

I have long since dropped "Google It" and gone with "Hey Chatty, Answer this as my guru"...

And then there is The Hub!

The time spent with AI, niche blogging, and affiliate marketing will eventually compensate for the 60+ I give to the man in the end.

Ooops! There goes twenty minutes.

Time to roll.

MrDon

So awesome Don, and I know that you totally get the "power" and potential that AI presents for all of us (and you are teaching others).

We are going to continue embracing AI in every respect in the year ahead. We are solving bigger problems than ever through our technology here, but I am using it in very creative ways in my personal life as well. I know many others are (like yourself) and have lots to share and we are going to have a community space to organize ideas and thoughts related to AI.

Like you, I find myself using Google less and less as I can have conversations to get much more sophisticated, and useful outcomes to my initial challenge/problem.

An exciting year ahead, and I look forward to the many conversations you and I alone are going to have on this very topic!

Are you still on the fence about "Google is Dead - Long Live AI"?

It has gotten to the point where I don't even watch Google Stats. However, I will say that "master niche blogging for retirement" is now 9~10 spots on Google. An improvement from 7~10.

Have you selected your favorite AI Bot yet? Grok2 is now free. I now have 6 that I use. Perplexity, Claude, CoPilot, Chatty, Gemini, and now Grok2.

BTW ~ This now makes 20 AI Image Generators.

I am going to have to collect AI Video Generators for my next project. After Web3.

I am using AI to write outlines, emails, headlines, images, website color contrasts. I also ask for help with SEO problems by giving AI the problem. It works mostly on the backend. It can not solve theme problems, as I have just found out.

I use AI on my website via a plugin that does informational posts, product reviews, amazon reviews, woocommerce reviews, youtube videos. Basically you add a keyword and check a few boxes and 30 secs later you have a 1500 word document. It adds internal links, images, categories and tags. And you can batch process up to 200 posts in a few minutes.

Anyways I am having a ball with AI and the speed that it is learning at is awesome

Hi Florence. May I ask what plugin you are using?

Florence, WoW!

And I thought I was efficient. That plugin of yours is what I have been searching for. The internal links/suggestions, and tags alone make the plugin worth its weight in Ethereum.

Please share!

MrDon

So awesome to hear Florence, I too am having a ball with AI and like the internet or my computer, I don't know how I would live without it now.

I can do way more, with way less time and this is freeing up time for me to take on bigger challenges than ever (and also to help others solve bigger challenges than ever).

Exciting times ahead!

I am using AI to;
- generate great content via GPT 4o mini
- generate internal links based on my current site map same
- generate high quality external links based on a deep research with perplexity
- generate relevant pictures and/or infographics using 4o to generate the prompts and recraft to generate the images with near flawless text
- generate relevant FAQs
- generate a short key takeaways section

What it doesn't do that I wish it did is automatically generate internal links to other posts when I post a new post.

I know you are deep into the AI world, and that is great Michael. 2025 is going to be an exciting year for us to share our ideas, solve problems together, and build on our AI skill sets here within WA as well.

We are going to be moving in a direction where we have a community dedicate to this topic, and other topics right here within WA. :)

Excellent brother, I am not from the United States but it is true that artificial intelligence is helping everyone but at the same time we have to look at the change in the young people of the future.

So wonderful to hear, and one thing that I am seeing AI doing is flatten the world. Everyone has access to the same power now, can get educated on any topic at the same rate, and can offer value to others with their new "AI" brains. Very powerful.

I know you are going to love the AI discussions and training here within WA alone, they are going to lead to high value skill sets and keeping ahead of the curve (and your potential competition).

Así es mi hermano
