Every Picture Tells a Story
- Rod Stewart continuing in the background. Set the ambiance - Link to the song
Now with Rod really playing in the background, you can read this post and be done before the song finishes.
I alluded to this in Old School vs New School - A Picture is Worth 1000s of Words.
Did you know that articles with images get 94% more views as opposed to those with no visuals? - This is a stat compiled by OptinMonster. You may even like to see more stats. -
So by now, you should know that if your blog post does not have images, 94% of people will skip what you wrote. PERIOD!
In an honest attempt to help you out, I created a list of 13 Free AI Image Generators. Some of you know where I blog from outside of these walls. I have now collected 19 Free and Excellent image generators. Bottom line there should be no reason to not have images in your posts.
I give my AI Bot of the day the entire section of the post and ask it to create an image prompt based on the section. For example,
And yet I continually see requests for feedback about posts that do not have images. Why? Dealing with images in our Editor is a PITA. A comment will have the acronym spelled out if someone asks.
Here’s a detailed image prompt that captures the essence of your section about the struggle with adding images:
"A frustrated blogger sitting at their desk, looking stressed while staring at a computer screen displaying a half-finished blog post without images. Scattered around the desk are crumpled papers, an empty coffee cup, and sticky notes that say 'Add images!' and 'Don't forget visuals!' On the screen, a text bubble says, 'Why is this so hard?' and faint, ghost-like images float above the screen to symbolize the struggle of dealing with visuals. The overall tone is humorous yet relatable, highlighting the frustration of bloggers managing images in their editor."
Now I grab one of my free image generators and add the prompt. This is from the latest Image maker that I found Mistral.AI
When you create your image with AI - YOUR Prompt goes in the Alt-Text. What better description of your image than the prompt that you used to create it? Never leave Alt-text blank!
Now that you have a set system to create one image - Create 4~5 or 10! One relevant image per H2. Four H2s = 4 Images, 5 H2s = 5 Images, 10 H2s (you wrote a guide) 10 images.
I do not add my images to my post until AFTER the post is PUBLISHED. WordPress gives you way more control over the image than our editor does. You can align it left, center, and right, make text flow in the side margins past the image, and even create the perfect width (400px) to make it so that your text on a cellphone doesn't "one-letter it" all the way down the side of your image.
These are images relevant to the Headers, which makes them relevant to the post and the point that you are trying to make. Do you see where I am going with this?
If you did, you are already on your way to Canva (or Microsoft Designer).
Jay (MagiStudios) had an interesting class about posting on Pinterest. The class will pop up in a new tab so you can watch this later. He showed you his research methods and how to put a collage together for Pinterest. You have 4-5 images. It should only take you a couple of minutes to put your latest post on Pinterest and link it back to your website.
Reels & Shorts
Ok, so I created a How to Guide for this example. This one may take you 14 minutes. You are going to give your favorite Chatbot your 4~5 H2s (or 10) with the specific instruction to create a 30-second script using these H2s. For example, I gave this one to Chatty
I have written a blog post - https://settingpoints.com/you-do-you-the-game/. I am using the 10 images within this post to create a reel. I want you to take these 10 headers and create a 30-second script that tells the story of the post and the images. Here are the headers...

Go Back into Canva and create an IG Reel and YouTube Short.

And none of them have your face!

The Amazing Niche Master
PS. I have just perfected this system, myself. So I will be backtracking to my favorite posts and doing the same in a repetitive process. Repeating the process 10-12 times will probably ingrain it into my system of creating blog posts.
Again, let me know if this helps you.

I am still fighting the Pinterest battle. But once I manage that somehow (how I know not ) I will try to move to FB. Right now, finding a reliable image generator would help a lot. Leonardo hallucinates, and so does Designer. I have Dalle through Canva pro but for some reason it is not working. Having a reliable workflow would help... maybe next year :) I will give Mistral a try. Thanks.
Perfection is never necessary. Repetition and practice will lead to the improvements you seek. Some of my early posts literally suck by today's standards.
But you know what? A lot of them are still ranking!
Do watch Jay's class if you haven't. It was inspirational.
