Using our WA profiles to full advantage

I remember reading a while back a blog here on WA about adding social media & websites to our WA profiles. Now I know we are not supposed to explicity advertise our sites, and that is more than fine, but how many people know how to add their details to the 'Follow Me' part of their profiles?

I ask because it is such an easy and great way to help cross promote and building a quick following list, that it seems such a shame more people aren't using it. I just looked up the first 30 followers on my network and not even half had listed their websites or social media pages. Is this something that should be promoted more within WA? After all, it is all about sharing and helping each other to be successful. What are your thoughts?

It is a great idea for the most part, Kristie!

I know it is not a perfect idea, we really are relying on everyone being genuine and following the ideology behind WA. It is such a shame that a few bad eggs can ruin someone else's hard work

Yes, it is sad!

I completely agree. We should all make an effort to support each other’s business by following on social media, liking, sharing and commenting. It’s completely free and gives such a great boost to the other person when you do so.

In fact I am now following you on Twitter, I have retweeted your tweets, I’ve visited your site and left you a comment too. I’ll follow you on Pinterest later (can’t remember my password 🤪)

Easy! Let’s all help each other.

Thanks
Dave

Haha thank you Dave! I will do the same :)

I have noticed that a number of very experienced members who have several websites do not list them or any social links. I suppose it is for a reason.

Maybe there is, just seemed odd when WA is about paying it forward. The only reason I can think of is that user might copy their sites. But that is a danger in general not specific to here

It seems odd to me, as well.
