Summer Caution
Oh the joys of summer. Getting together with friends and family. Taking it easy, just resting.
I have one word for this Summer Caution. What I mean by this is keep an eye on your children at all times. Enen teenagers. DO NOT LET THEM GO TO THE BATHROOMS BY THEMSELVES. Child trafficking is at an all-time high. It's something I do not want to even talk about, but it must be addressed.
This is a different world that we grew up in.
My daughter and grandkids are at the beach this week, and I am on pins and needles hoping all goes well, patiently waiting to hear about that day's fun. I tend to worry to much but that's just me.

Hi Kathie,
In another life I used to blog at a different blog venue (not WordPress) on human trafficking taking place in the U.S. at the Southern border. Most assume it is only a one way trafficking, entering the U.S. and have no idea that women and children are also being trafficked the other way as well.
I'm not going to rehash the vast amount of information I uncovered during that time, but it is an epidemic that receives little to no media coverage. Folks should definitely be mindful to avoid allowing our loved ones from being in positions of vulnerability when possible.
