I know I just started this WA program and I'm still super excited about it! So the title may have sounded a bit dramatic! But it got your attentive ;) Captivating, I know.

I'll be in San Francisco tomorrow night for a couple days then Hawaii (I miss living there so much!) for a week, and SF for three more nights before I come back home, then I start my classes at the college the Monday I return.

While in Hawai'i I have an open swim dive with Sharks one day (super excited!!!! I actually love sharks and have been able to be near one once and since then I've been dying to get closer! I'll be swimming with a shark conservationist, no cage dive, and it'll be awesome. The next day I have an all day snorkel excursion and hangout where I'll swim with Dolphins and check out the reef. The other days are open, except on Jan 16, I'll get married! I literally did not stress AT ALL for this wedding ($215 for a beach wedding, INCLUDING marriage license). We're just going to wear "nice" clothes, a regular but conservative sun dress and he'll wear some shorts and a button up shirt :)

It'll be a busy 3 weeks. I still intend to spend some time on my sites just not as much :( I'm bummed about that, but I need to focus on my degree/studies.

I lost my cousin, who was raised with me as a brother on December 13 and it devastated me. He was only 14 months older than I am. I also lost my "Auntie" Diane, a neighbor and friend I've had for over 5 years. I spent NYE in the Emergency room and this might seem irrelevant, but I had serious medical issues before and a major tumor destroyed one of my ovaries, it appears the last ovary I have left is experiencing the same issue. So, No kids in my future (I'm 33 years old, and always wanted to have kids, just wanted to wait until I was in my 30s to start, such is life.) Not to mention my sister had a serious accident, she nearly died and was in a coma, the wreck caused MAJOR traumatic brain damage, she was the New Orleans Brain Trauma Unit for a few months last year. She's finally getting better and physical therapy allowed her to walk again and her words are coming back, she's almost herself again. My little sister. I've had a really tough year and the only thing I had to look forward to, was this trip out of town with my best friend (of five years) before he became my partner almost 2 years ago.

So this entire post is obviously personal related and not business related. I have another class set to start on February 2, I decided to take 5 courses this semester, one of them being an "accelerated" class to move quicker, but I'll get settled and focused on growing my business. I have definitely invested more than I've seen(which I understand will happen when you're building something new) and I look forward to this investment helping me minimize student loan debt.

Anyways, so now I'll be leaving probably for at least a week then I'll return and start back on my goals.

Any advise on if I should still try to do SOMETHING during my vacation/wedding for my sites, or do you think it's safe to just enjoy myself? Thanks for listening

~Christina

Sounds rough- you have a lot invested. Clearly, the WA path takes a LOT of work before most folks see a return, but it does seem to deliver for those who stick it out. No doubt there are snarky types who offer less help than jabs, but I've been able to ignore those; my main challenge is ME, and I expect I'm typical. I've been lucky enough to get the help I need without too much effort.

If you have a question about how to do something, I suggest you search for people that have good advice already out there or success in that area and ask them directly. If the answer is a downer, scratch them off your list and move on. You've not asked me for help, but I invite you to do so. If I don't know the answer or don't have time, I'll try to refer you to someone who does.

In my experience, WA is loaded with folks who are happy to provide answers to simple questions without delay, judgment or payment. There are also more than a few who are here to drum up business from others who need help and a couple who just want to boost their ego at someone else's expense.

In any case Christina, you have friends who will be happy to help with answers and suggestions if you ask nicely. There are also good courses for more in-depth learning. If you need someone to provide serious coaching or to do the work of building your sites or your business, you'll likely need to pay or trade something for that help. I think more time in the certification program will help a lot if you can fit it into your tough schedule.

If none of that works for you, please try and take whatever you can from the experience and keep smiling... Life is way too short to waste it with regrets.

Wishing you the best...
Steve

Oh Wow!!! You have so much going on!
I am sorry for the loss of your cousin. I am glad you sister is getting better!

I got married on Oahu too! It was at a botanical garden on the east side of the island, then we did pictures on the beach. It wasn't nearly as calm as yours sounds since we were wrangling out of state family/living accommodations etc.

I think if it is just a week you should just forget your site and enjoy your trip and wedding! It is bad to leave a site for weeks but 1 week should be ok! I have been here 2 years and taken much longer than that off. It was bad for my site but I have seen what a week does and you should be fine.

Enjoy!
Jessica

Thanks Jessica! I'm pretty excited to get married. and yeah that was the goal, NO STRESS wedding. people always stress a lot and I think I've had more than enough LoL.

Thank you!

Great work

You are open-minded and beautiful and I think you can ask your husband's permission to continue with Wealthy Affiliate.

If he agrees then it might be a benefit for you both and your children to come. Congratulation Kookahroo for meeting your twin-flame. Regards Edi

Oh he's incredibly supportive and amazing. I'm asking if it will affect me taking a week off of here. I want to ENJOY all of hawaii and with all the tragedy and trauma in my life, I would like to actually vacation.
I am fully committed to staying with the program.
Also....I stated in my blog, I can't have children..... he doesn't really want them either. We've both actually gotten very used to this lifestyle of freedom.... travel when we want, where we want, no babysitters needed when we take off for a weekend adventure or something..... so no future children. It's not as sore of a spot as it used to be for me, but I still get bummed out by it.

Congratulations on your wedding my friend.
All the best to you in 2018 from México.
Eugenio.

Gracias! I have tons of family in Sonora México. I speak the language, but not very well. Thanks for stopping in and saying hi!

You are welcome mi amiga.
Best regards.
Eugenio.
