Hi guys, anyone who can help on featured images, how to get rid of duplicate images I have tried 3 different codes but no breakthrough, I watched a video in the training severa

Kyle has you covered here; I also mentioned it on your site feedback question, if you remember.

Abie

Many thanks Abbie

No problem, Ellen!
Abie

you could try

.wp-post-image {
display: none !important;
}
this may or may not work with your theme....

answer from copilot add

.wp-post-image { display: none; }

so very similar to mine above...

Thank you so much Feigner I will try them and see if it works

Thanks a lot Feigner it worked I have already done 4 featured images all good.

brilliant...
glad it worked...

After a long struggle

I have some training on this here, including the little piece of "code" you have to add to your settings to remove the duplicate image issue. If you have copied this code, and it is not working, that may be a theme issue. Drop us a link to the post on your website where you are seeing the duplicate image issue and we will help you out here. ;)

No problem Kyle,
https://eldeezfashionplus.com/category/plus-best-fit

I see the featured image in the right place on your actual "blog roll". And within your actual blog post itself, I only see one image at the top (not the duplication).

https://eldeezfashionplus.com/introductory-content-topicidea-1-content-goes-here-topicidea-2-content

Make sure you refresh your browser after you have made the changes to your code, and it will show your updated page.

But it looks fine though. ;)

Thank you so much Kyle am so delighted its working ok now.

Hi Ellen10,

Your niche is a very good one.

In addition to what the experts have said, I checked your website now, and there are no ''affiliate disclosure, about me and contact'' pages on it.

I hope this resource would help as well. - Makinde

Thank you so much Makinde for the feedback, I greatly appreciate it.

You are welcome, Ellen10.

might be worth adding an about me to the menu if poss and a short bio to the sidebar...
did find your about me - and a real image of you would not go amiss- bit of trust for your visitors...
the email address on ythat page links to your home page - change the link to 'mailto:[mail address]' changing [email address ] to your email address...
or just add if you have any issues with the content on the website or want ot get in touch then use the contact me page - link to it...
this way your email address is not open for skimmers to harvest and add to a spam list...
and an affiliate disclosure page...
featured images will help with your site...
some real images rather than ai generated will also help....
watch the file size of your images as these are around 250kb for the ai generated ones - multiple ones of these will slow down your loading speed...
there is a large gap on the archives from 2018 to 2024...maybe worth either having this as a dropdown or removing...made me wonder why and i am not your target audience...

Thank you so much Feigner for the constructive feedback I greatly appreciated it. You are right about the large gap on the archives, I was even thinking of removing it completely so that it will not bring questions to my audience.

I noticed your posts are all under uncategorized.

You can start with some categories, as your posts are uncategorized.

You can hover over posts and click categories.

Create as many categories as you like; don't forget to add the slug.

Then, you can head to Appearance > Menus, and provided you create a menu first, you can start adding those categories.

Then, you can head to your posts and assign them to their respective categories. You can assign a post to more than one category.

So, when folks click on a specific category, they can see all related posts.

Does this mean I have to pay for each domain transfer I make to WA because i could n't process it without paying.

Featured Comment

You can transfer your domains here to WA.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/domains/transfer

To initially get your domain over to our service, you will need to pay for a full year up front. This is required to complete your transfer and then the subsequent rebill date will be a year from the date of the initial purchase.

Say you bought the domain through another registrar on January 1st, 2016 then you transferred it to WA on July 15th 2016 and paid the renewall fee. Your next renewal date here would not be until January 1st, 2018.

Hope this clarifies and upon transferring your domain to WA, you will instantly get to take advantage of all of the features (private whois, domain protection, etc) here as well as "same next year pricing" which other domain registrars typically do not offer.

This is what Abie replied with earlier:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The error message you're seeing—"Missing field 'item' (in 'itemListElement')"—indicates that some structured data on your website is incomplete

This may help:
https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-fix-either-name-or-item-name-should-be-specified-error/

One other person of the same thing in the last 24 hours

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At least if everything is on your profile you can keep referring back to it and it wont get lost in live chat.

I am going to look into your error:

Regards

Brian

The issue you're encountering refers to missing or incomplete structured data for the "itemListElement" property, which is required for rich results in Google search, particularly when creating a list of items (e.g., a list of blog posts or articles).

Here's how to fix the missing "item" field in your itemListElement schema:

Steps to Fix the "Missing field 'item'" Error:
Check Your Schema Markup:

If you're using JSON-LD structured data, ensure your schema includes the itemListElement field, which should have an array of items.
Each entry in the itemListElement array needs an item property containing the URL (@id) or name of the specific item.
Correct Schema Example: If you are creating a list of articles, here's a sample of how the schema should look:

json
Copy code
{
"@context": "https://schema.org",
"@type": "ItemList",
"itemListElement": [
{
"@type": "ListItem",
"position": 1,
"item": {
"@type": "Article",
"@id": "https://eldeezfashionplus.com/about-me",
"name": "About Me"
}
},
{
"@type": "ListItem",
"position": 2,
"item": {
"@type": "Article",
"@id": "https://eldeezfashionplus.com/how-to-dress-for-your-body-shape",
"name": "How to Dress for Your Body Shape"
}
}
]
}
Review Your Pages for Consistency: Ensure that every page affected (e.g., those listed in your example) has proper structured data implemented. Each "ListItem" should have a unique @id (URL) and name.

Validate Your Structured Data:

After implementing changes, use Google's Rich Results Test to validate your pages and ensure there are no remaining errors.
Re-submit to Google:

Once you've fixed the structured data, you can re-submit your sitemap or affected pages in Google Search Console to speed up the re-indexing process.
Fixing these issues will help ensure your pages are eligible for Google’s rich results, increasing their visibility and performance in search results.

So..... open up each of the URLS listed above in wordpress that you have the NA next to and have a look at the title and look at those posts listed above AGAIN and then resave and add the URL back into the Google search console, only do one of them first and see what results you get from google, I have a feeling that when you completed the post you didnt click save.

Regards

Brian

Thank you so much Brian for taking your time to help, you are so kind, I got the page which was refused indexing previously indexed yesterday I don't know if anything has changed but I will go through the process you have explained and see what happens, I really appreciate Brian.

Hi Brian, hope u are good, still on the same issue I don't think I am using JSON-LD structured data, and also I don't know where to find Schema Markup, unfortunately I am not very techy I been trying my best to solve this issue, the only thing I kinda of found, was about editing the robots after going through the info you gave me, one of the ways to eliminate noindex within the robots link was to delete the disallow and all the lines associated but wasn't sure which lines exactly. I really appreciate your help.

Open up the post from your dashboard and just look around the post, make some changes and then change it back to what it was before.

AND re-enter it back into the google search console manually.

Dont panic too much about what google search console is telling you, it makes mistakes aswell.

Google crashed yesterday for 16 hours, Sunday 15/09/24, so even Google isnt perfect.

If you can open up the post in google search and see it yourself when you log out of Wealthy Affiliate, then that is good enough.

Regards

Brian

Hi Ellen,

I just had a look at your website and I cant find your about me page in the menu, add your about me page to your menu, if you have one, by going to:

Website tab at the top of page
Site Manager
Blue login button to login
Black dashboard on the left:
Appearance
Menus
Drag the about me and the other posts to your menu to the right hand side., thats why google is saying itemListElement, which actually means in English Items are not in the menu to list.

So it looks like you have created posts but they are not in your menu.

Have a look.

Regards

Brian

Thank you so much Brian, It looks like everything is sorted now my posts are being indexed, all good I really appreciate.

Hi Ellen,
It looks like Kyle addressed your question personally here, Do you still have questions beyond his answer?
Let me know,

Gary

Thanks Gary yes i still hv a question after paying for the domain to transfer it to WA name cheap still says i can not transfer it until after 60 days so that means i can not use the domain up until 60 days

Ellen,

When did you buy your domain?
Did you cancel it?

I read the error message you are getting and you should not get that unless you had canceled the domain and are now trying to use it while it is still in the 60 day lockdown period?

This is sounding like something we may have to resolve through NameCheap, not WA.

Let me know,
Gary

Yes Gary I cancelled it I just bought a different domain from WA now. I will work on the namecheap domain later.

OK,
I presumed there was a logical reason for the #22 error code.
What domain name and why did you cancel it?

You will have to wait for the canceled domain for 60 days from when you canceled it to be able to get it released again.

What is your new domain through WA?
The reason I ask is that you will rank better in Google with just a domain name like what you canceled rather than with a SiteRubix site.

Well regardless, I hope you have been at least writing daily for your niche.
If you need to understand something before you do it, feel free to ask me directly.
I try to respond as quickly as I am able.

Be well,
Gary
