Need some Help
Been regularly posting content but no one seems to be interested to enter the website to read. I already have a Facebook page to help push for readership but this is still not enough. Can someone help me check or suggest how to boost traffic?

My one site which I just created just for fun and I did not bother to boost its traffic is now receiving the highest among my sites. Just fill it with content and when you reach a hundred posts traffic will start to grow.
However, as part of our lessons, we have to promote it in every social media like Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Plus and others will help.
Try some unusual tactics after you have taken care of the basics as taught here...
Here are a few ideas:
(1) Blogger dot com. Get an account and start a blog. Use that blog to post synapses of your main website posts. You can add 3-4 posts at a time, and just include some short outtakes, and by doing 3-4 at a time, it does not have to take a long time...This will help your SEO and also get attention to your content, plus a backlink from a high authority website (Blogger dot com is owned by Google)..
(2) Facebook and Instagram. On FB, start posting tips for those asking questions or needing advice in related groups, and refer them back to your related content...Also on FB, create a support group that links back to your website...On Instagram, create an account and build a following, referring them back to your website...
(3) Quora. Try this website - I think there are some good posts on how to best use Quora to get traffic to your websites right here. This is a long-term strategy, but then again, this is a long-term business...
(4) Twitter. As with FB, a good social avenue to get some attention to your content and whatever you may be promoting. There is also some good training here on how best to use Twitter.
(5) Promote Posts. Using FB create a post about some of your content that others could benefit from. Spend $5 to get it boosted and some attention/likes/views...Look for what is hot in your niche or what may be viral, and tap into the power of the buzz...
(6) Give away something valuable. Don't just give it away, of course, you want to get a name and email address for whatever you give away. Make it something people would normally be willing to pay for...Promote the giveaway on the social sites, and perhaps make sharing a requirement to get the giveaway...i.e. 5 shares you et access...This will help you get attention and also you can develop a targeted audience.
(7) Mingle. Start participating with other niche members on forums, groups, and wherever they may congregate. Offer some relevant and helpful information as possible, watch the successful people, and emulate what they are doing.
(8) Your Niche. Relook at what the needs or problems are for the niche. Have you created and published content to solve the problems? If not do so...
(9) Backlinks. I know this is a dirty word, but powerful backlinks from high authority sites still make sense when they come naturally. How to get them? Ask your self what kind of authority sites are there for your niche and then look at how you might be able to connect. i.e. an educational or government site. Here is an example: I have degrees from 4 colleges and universities, and I do post from time to time with various departments or on the social platforms. Why? It gets me traffic and a backlink in some cases...Whether it is a no follow or do follow, the attention is helpful.
(10) My last one...Video. If you do not have a YouTube channel that supports your website, get one. Populate it with useful videos for your niche, create and publish explainer videos for tools and programs you use or are promoting, and build it up. YouTube is a huge search engine source, and people are using it every day...
There are probably 90 more I could add, but I hope that this has gotten the old creative juices flowing!
Cheers!

Hi Koh
This does take time.
We should be posting content as often as possible using keywords.
If you do this consistently you will slowly but surely accumulate more organic traffic.
The question is how much traffic is enough for you? You have to set a goal and then work out what it will take to reach your target.
Perhaps this lesson can help understand the process better - The Traffic Breakdown Regards,
Kamil
Hello, Ming
I had the same issue not too long ago. A couple things that might help you are: If you don't have a Google+ account, get one and every time you post an article, make sure you also put it on Google+. Next, make sure you have internal links so that your posts are connected. Have you been requesting comments from the WA community? This gives you a chance to interact and Google likes that. All of these things show Google you want to be around for a while. Don't worry, they will come. Just keep posting and have Patience.
All the best.
Warren
Yeah i alr have been sharing my content on Google plus. As for internal links, the more articles i have posted, the more chances to put links on subsequent articles. So still looking forward to more suggestions

You can enter the word: free traffic in the search bar at the top of this page and look at the drop-down list. You will find some great help there!
I think the website looks like many of the overly monetized ones I see all of the time; That may account for people not staying very long!
Thanks for the tip
