There are two key things to consider. The first is your competition's sales funnel, and the second is their sales channel. Their sales channel will probably dictate where they send traffic to convert a sale. If they're using Google ads or Facebook ads, you can probably take advantage of similar traffic channels and serve up some relevant content based on what people are searching for. I recommend looking at your competitors' websites and seeing what keywords they use to target people searching on Google. Then, try and find out whether they're targeting those keywords or if they forgot to remove those keywords from the meta description when it was written months ago.
