Do you find Podcasts to be helpful when promoting something? Does it add successful diversity to your website?
Good question...I listen to podcasta quite a bit...I do find them useful and think they can be a helpful addition to your overall marketing program....
In fact, I have downloaded a lot of the tools and etc. needed to start one myself, but have not really gone further at this point...Setting this up is on my "To Do" list...
I think it is something you should explore and see how it could fit in, I like how it is something that visitors can download and listen to when they have time....

I've never tought about podcast. In my opinion, the best ways to promoting something is writing a great article with photos. And it's better with video if you are confortable with.

I listen to podcasts and enjoy them as yet I have not gotten round to trying it out, you can just do one and test it out I know one member here that has done them but I am sure there must be others, this is a bit dated but may help you get and idea what is involved. Podcasting Tutorial

Should I have outbound links or should I use pretty links? I read that pretty links are no follow but I also hear that outbound links reward you.
Link only to reputable sites, like Wikipedia, Forbes, New York Times, Google itself, government sites like FTC, Internet Crime Center, or even to your competitor's site IF the info is relevant to your content. I am not cloaking the URLs and have not used Pretty Links in a long time. If I use a shortener, I use Google at goo.gl (they even give you click stats)

I am not sure how to fix this. I think it might hurt ranking. It shows this:

Disallow: /wp-admin/

Yes, you have to remove that line...
I have PM'd you the (in my opinion, but i don't have any errors in search console) best practice of robots.txt...
Just change what is needed, don't have to explain to you...
In a way, It surprises me that those images would be in the /WP-admin/ folder
But it will be ajex that is used to get these images and since that is blocked, he cannot get to the images who are in /wp-content/ folder...

How many posts and pages do you think would be a great amount before you start to use pay per click ads?
Depends on what you're going to use PPC for. Usually it's used to direct visitors to a landing page or squeeze page. To get your ROI you need to get sales or optins.
