Trying to keep trucking
I am a little bit over my month WAnniversary here.
I am greatful for the training but having a tough time today keeping motivated.
In school, I hated writing. I was all about math. I loved crunching numbers and could do it day in and day out.
When it came to writing an essay I struggled big time. I remember I almost failed an english exam one year because I wrote about how crappy it is writing essays. To be fair they let us choose whatever topic we wanted. I was just so frustrated though.
Writing on my site isn't like writing essays or for school.
I get to write about things I actually like.
It is hard some days though to find the motivation even after telling myself that I need to push content and that it will pay off.
To all the newbies out there, we can do it and I know it will pay off!
Cheers!

As a math teacher, I totally get you! I LOVE numbers!
And you are totally right.. There is a difference writing essays and posts here at WA; it's much better to right about something you love.
Keep it up!!
Pretend you are talking to someone / explaining something to someone who is sitting at a table with you having a coffee and has asked you a question. If you picture that person and what you would say to them, it will be easier to write.
Writing is the key to success in online marketing the more you do it, the better writer you will become
Just remember that when you create content for your website, that you essentially are just communicating with people much like you would a family member or close friend.
Your writing should by no means be like writing an English essay back in school -- and honestly if you write like that not only will you get bored, but also your readers will too.
So in your next post, try to imagine a friend sitting next to you and write in a way you would be talking to them. I think you'll see that it becomes a whole lot easier this way.
Also quick note...
I just did a word count on this post you created, and it was close to 200 words (or 1/5 of a full blog post). And if I were a betting man, I bet this took you less than 10 minutes to write right?
So the mentality you went about writing this post -- use that same process in all your post moving forward. :)
Good luck as you keep going through the training and building your business.
Yes, that's exactly what I needed. Thank you!
Especially when you broke it down for me in time frames and yes, it did only take me ten minutes to write that.
Best advice, thank you again.
Going to go and write my post now!
