Hi all,
I've been promoting Wealthy Affiliate recently and have gotten about 20 referrals. None of them upgraded to premium or even completed their account setup, though
How to get higher conversions on wa referrals?
Hi all,

Hi Kevin,
Great to hear that you're promoting WA and that you've sent some referrals already!
Account setup is not something that is taught until users upgrade, so do not expect that to happen at a high rate at this point - we may bring that back into the STARTER phase 1 training, but at the moment we want users to focus on the training and start building the foundation of their businesses while on the starter membership.
If you'd like to send Kyle or I a PM, we will be happy to discuss your traffic sources if you would like to talk about your campaign so far.
However, in regards to Auto-messages - these offer you a powerful tool to be able to communicate with your referrals. Our suggestion is to drop your affiliates a message > 30 after they setup their first hub. This is going to give them an opportunity to get involved in the training before they get a notification to go over to their profile to see your message.
Kyle leaves a message within the first 30 minutes as well, so you want to avoid having your message go out at the same time as him.
The most important conversion item is that the people you refer to WA, get started in the training.
We've got an update coming where we are going to pop open the first class when a user first comes into their HUB. This is going to have a profound impact on engagement in those critical first moments of a user joining Wealthy Affiliate. We are also working on an alternate way to allow users to come into WA and learn how to build their hub via the training vs the Wizard approach that we are taking now.
In your messages to your referrals - make sure to let them know you are there to help, but always suggest they go back to their hubs (and drop a link) so that they can complete Phase 1 of the training.
Having a Niche chosen, a Brand, and a Website, plus having been through the training on how Affiliate marketing works, and having your first ABOUT ME page created (likely with the help of our Author platform), that's a heck of a lot accomplished for free in the Starter membership.
So, send Kyle or I a PM and we'll be happy to discuss your traffic and what mindset your visitors are in when they arrive and we can give you some more tips on converting too.
Also, it's important to note that people sometimes take weeks or months to convert. It doesn't always happen in the first 7 or 14 days. People are busy in their own lives, and they can take some time to learn how the WA platform will help them.

Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone is a certified commenter and has been having issues getting cash credits from comments? Commenting had been going well for me until April
It may seem dependent on the economics of the platform. If members have not paid, then commentators don't get paid. It should not be seen as a guarantee vs an opportunity to make some income.
Hi Kevin,
There are measures in place to ensure that credits are distributed to many members who are taking part in offering comments. There is a cap that you can earn in a month yes. If you are not being offered cash credits then you've reached that cap. Activity is calculated using the past 30 day period.

Got it, thank you! As a side question, if I put in a new site comment request for a blog post that I already requested comments for, will I run into situations where the same person is commenting twice on the post?
It depends on how many cash credits are in the system vs. community credits. The side effect of being accredited and using this platform is that you will sometimes earn cash credits, but this should not be looked at as a revenue model for building a business.

Hi all,
I'm in a situation where I'm planning to close three websites and transfer the content to one main site. Can I simply unpublish the articles on the old sites, co
Hello Kevin,
Thank you for your question. I hope you're doing well.
Providing the content is related to your new website, then I don't see a problem in copying the content over. Five blog posts on each website will not do very much, unfortunately. So I would say that you are doing the right thing to publish the posts to one site.
Have a great day.
Roy
What's the situation of these posts, are they ranking?
Also you want the posts to be relevant i.e. ONE niche, a website. Products and programs can be varied however all must be relevant to the niche.
Thanks for the reply, Abie. Some of the articles are indexed by Google, and you can find them if you type in the exact title of the article. The amount of traffic each site gets is negligent, though. All posts are within the same niche.
Thank you.
You sill need your posts to he relevant to the niche at hand, otherwise you may confuse Google and your visitors.

Hi everyone,
Wondering if you can still earn cash credits from creating training on WA? I remember there used to be a progress bar showing your progress toward receiving
Resource Cash credits and how to earn and use them Also here How to Create Training Resources at WA
Thanks Abie, do you know if we can still see the progress bars? I have created training before, and there used to be a dashboard that shows how many credits you earn when your training reaches each level.
