Sorry you all I have disappeared for a few weeks! Can you say, " Busy Busy Busy"!!!
We have been super busy trying to add some curb appeal to our home before the hottest summer days hit. Boy did I bite off more than I could chew for the short period I had. I had an idea and ran with it so then the tear out began and the new was goingIN.
Let's say the wife and son "Landon" love it but now I see it in their eyes they are going to make me pay for every blister, cut, dollar spent, and late nights laying in the floor trying to convince yourself to get up because the Ol' back isn't hurting that bad and shower so we can go to bed.
Then next thing we knew I was like "hey these rocks look good maybe we should add a couple of water fountains lol." Well needless to say after all this we are almost done! I don't think the wife and kid will ever offer to help with my ideas without knowing the exact plan prior to the agreement!
This started with just wanting to stain the back deck and trim the bushes out front with maybe a potted plant or two. Then it grew and grew lol! I mean after the fresh stained deck you need to accent it with some nice lighting right? You clean out the landscaping and trim bushes then you need all NEW rock, flowers, planters ECT. right? OR IS IT JUST ME!!!!!

there's nothing quite like working with your hands and mind Kevin, being creative especially on your home. there is something special about our own little place that we live and the memories and comfort this brings.

Bought it by pallets at Lowe's. They used a fork truck and set it in bed of my truck. 54 bags on each pallet and the said 1 pallet weighed 2600 pounds. Once home we unloaded it bag by bag in wheel barrel to its spot. You can see the bags in wheelbarrow in one of pictures. NOT EASY LOL.
Also we could have had a loader dump it in my truck bed for a little cheaper but we have a newer Ford and they are aluminum so I was scared if they dumped it to hard.
