Can You Make Money WITHOUT Promoting Wealthy Affiliate? (With Proof)
There are many 'affiliate marketing' make-money online programs which teaches how to make money online by promoting the same program to others.
Such programs are limited in scope. The knowlege and tools offered are no longer functional when the 'affiliate marketer' wishes to promote a niche that's beyond 'make money online'.
I wouldn't judge the ethical nature of such programs, but question the quality of training provided (if any) to become a true affiliate marketer.
Wealthy Affiliate is an affiliate marketing training program. But it also has an affiliate program where you can make money by promoting Wealthy Affiliate.
However, you're not obliged to do so to make money online. And I'm the living-proof.
First Niche - Wellness
The first website that I've built since joining Wealthy Affiliate is in the health niche.
I promoted
- supplements
- essential oils.
- herbal tea
- meditation products
- hypnosis audio.
I had my $500 month in 2018.
Cmmissions from hypnosis affiliate program.
Commissions from meditation products
Second Niche - Allergies
I built a 2nd affiliate site, which focuses on a specific type of allergy. It was a a better effort than the first, as I've avoided newbie mistakes the second time around.
Again, I've made sales in the niche.
Third Niche - Headphone
Early 2020, I started a 3rd site in a highly-competitive niche. I was itching to test out if it's possible to make money in such a crowded space for a new website.
You Can Make Money WITHOUT Promoting Wealthy Affiliate
I think it's beyond doubt that the training provided at Wealthy Affiliate can be applied at any niches.
Wealthy Affiliate does not limit you to promoting itself to others. Of course, if your interest lies in the make money online niche, you can freely do so.
What I'm trying to point out is that you have limitless flexibility when you're getting real affiliate marketing that's proven to work.
Still, you'll still need to put in the hardwork, learn, try, fail and improvise as you go on. Affiliate marketing demands entrepreneurial spirit.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
Are you promoting Wealthy Affiliate? Or working on a different niche? How's it going for you? It'll be interesting and inspirational to share your journey here.

Yes, as you have shown you can absolutely make money using affiliate marketing on topics besides Wealthy Affiliate.
In fact, I think that someone should absolutely have success in a different niche before trying to promote WA - otherwise you aren't speaking from experience and can offer little more than a book report.
Congrats on your success!
I'm fine with people promoting WA as their first niche, as long as they do not give the perception that they have successes in other niches.
After 20 years n the industry, 95% read like a book report, with no real knowledge or understanding of what it takes to succeed in affiliate marketing. For example, I saw one WA member who had one post of about 1,000 words talking about what an affiliate network was and listing them all. That could easily (and should have easily) been 1500 words on at least 5 of them. But she had no understanding about their role in the industry and it showed. Oh yeah, and then she blamed the industry for her failure ("affiliate marketing doesn't work") instead of looking in the mirror.
