One Prayer Without an Answer
I cried out, "Lord give me more time!"
I need more time to work on my site.
I need more time to work on my certification lessons.
I need more time just to be quiet, and get in touch with my inner self.
Lord, I need time to have meaningful relations around me.
I need time to watch the rain drops come down one by one.
I need time to walk around with my hair let loose and feel the freshness of the wind blow through it.
Lord, I need time to read/watch the news.
I need time just to be me.
There is enough time.
From the new born babe to the rulers of the world, everyone has been apportioned enough time to do all what must be done. The quota is the same.
Twenty Four Hours.
No one can receive more than 24 hours.
Prioritization, not more time is what I need.
Lord, help me to prioritize.

I recited that prayer today and I also recited it yesterday and all the days prior....We all have the same amount of hours in our day. However, life happens and doesn't wait. I find myself telling my husband on a daily basis that I need to go rent a cabin in the woods with total isolation.Lol no matter how well laid my plans for the day are, the universe changes them. It's amazing when I look back at the end of the day, how fast the day has been and I've gotten very little accomplished. I just try to get a little done each day. Boy am I tired!!!! Love your post by the way. Got a little relief to know I'm not the only one.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem. It reminds me of something I read recently, that time surrounds us, we live in it, like a fish lives in water. The fish cannot have an understanding of water. There is not too little or too much water, it just is. Is there really too little or too much time? We live in time. It is our water.
