More on Email Marketing
1. Email Marketing Helps Reduce Your Budget
Email marketing helps you save money and trees! By going digital, your
business can avoid printing, paper, envelopes, mail handling, and postage
costs. Plus, with email marketing you can work with a designer to design a
custom newsletter template your business can use over and over again,
and get your message out much faster than traditional snail mail.
2. Email Marketing Helps Build Brand Recognition
You can get your brand image and name in front of your audience more
often by including your logo, tagline, color palette, and brand graphics in
the template design of your email marketing communications. Seeing your
brand elements in every issue will build brand awareness and recognition
among your subscribers.
3. Email Marketing Connects You To Your Target Market
Email marketing helps your business stay in touch with your audience on
a regular basis, keeping you in front of their mind and at the tip of their tongue.
This ensures that when your services, products, or programs are needed, they
will be more likely to buy from you or refer their friends, family, peers, and contacts
to you.
4. Email Marketing Increases Your Credibility
If they trust you, they are more likely to buy from you. Use email marketing
that is relevant, on-topic, and full of value to help you earn and grow the trust
of your target market. This makes it much easier to sell your products and
services to them when the time is right.
5. Email Marketing Educates Customers
Your email newsletter is a great way to keep your customers up to date with
what is happening in your business. By sharing what you’re working on and
what’s going on, you can keep them informed of the products, services, and
programs you have available for them. This just might entice them to hire you
or buy from you again.
6. Email Marketing Opens Up New Opportunities
Publishing an email newsletter can help your business generate new
opportunities such as strategic partnerships, joint ventures, media interviews,
speaking engagements, and more. All it takes is the right person to see your
message at the right time. Your opportunity may come from a subscriber or
from someone your newsletter was forwarded to.
7. Email Marketing Creates New Income Streams
Your email marketing message can be used to recommend, products, programs,
and services as an Affiliate. When you have used these products or services
yourself or truly believe they can help your readers, you can earn commissions
on any sales made from your referrals. As your list grows, you can also sell
advertising space in your upcoming newsletter.
8. Email Marketing Can Expand Your Network
Email marketing helps you grow your network and build your list by allowing
you to capture the email addresses and names of your web site visitors through
an opt-in box. By entering their name and email, visitors are giving you permission
to communicate with them and make offers to them by email. Remember to
promote your email newsletter via social media, live events, on your website,
when speaking, in products, and even in your email signature.
9. Email Marketing Helps You Reach a Bigger Audience
Drive your current email newsletter subscribers back to your website by
promoting recent blog posts in each issue. Repurpose your ezine content
or archive your ezine articles on your blog to attract new visitors via social
media. Share your ezine articles on article marketing and article sharing
sites to gain exposure and visibility for your brand. Be sure to add a capture
form to your articles so new visitors can subscribe to your list.
