My Turn To Introduce My Family
I have seen several family pictures posted and I knew I had to get one out here. I am doing my website on being a single parent so it is a natural fit - wwwsingleparenthelpadviceandstories -.
Let me introduce the kids to you. My son is Jason who is 29 and the father of my 3 perfect grandchildren. He works for the post office by day and is super dad by night. He is always tired but I have never seen him without a smile!
Laura is 27 and is a perfectionist. She is an environmental engineer and is on the road a lot so I have to make an appointment to visit with her..or it seems like it sometimes! She is a very caring person but not nearly as easy going as her brother is..
They were raised in a single parent family and they both turned out great so it can be done! I learned a lot of the tricks from them while they were growing up as they were never afraid to talk to me about what was needed and what was not! The key thing for them was me being there for them not all of the material things!
I love them with all my heart and always will... All parents should.. The time and quality time spent with them is the important thing not the tv set or the new car..They will remember the little vacation or the time you bought them ice cream to make them feel better ...
Take care!
Keith

Thank you Keith for presenting yourself and your children. It is nice to get an impression of the people who are showing up here. Although I like dogs very much, but your doggie in the profile pic didn#t tell me a lot about how you look like! lol.
That is the truth! I have Maggie out there because she helped me through so much of my tough times the past few years and she passed away in November...
Sorry for that, Keith. I know how hard it is to loose a pet with whom you had a really deep connection. So being on your profile, she keeps staying alive!
That is the truth! She was something special and is always in my thoughts! She was a true fur baby..Thanks for the sentiment! Take care, Keith
Yes, they hold a place in our hearts, even long after their death (like my Tommy who died exactly 2 years ago, I still feel very connected....)
That they do...They are very special. I know I have Maggie stuff around that I forget I have..
