I thought we were able to use siterubix.com for our websites.I also thought we could convert whenever we were ready to do so. Or was that only to complete the first round of l
If you are serious about growing your business you are definitely going to want to purchase your own .com domain at some point.
There are advantages to purchasing one. For one, your own .com domain will look much more professional to your visitors (as well as to Google). You also own the domain you purchase, where WA retains ownership of the siterubix domains as they are actually subdomains of WA ... this means that should you decide to leave WA in the future you could take your .com domain with you. Also, some affiliate programs will not accept a subdomain.
Finally, you also have the option to sell a .com domain somewhere down the line should you choose to do so. See this blog by Dale: 2 Posts Per Week, EASY $11,000+ All that being said, I would NOT go ahead and purchase one until you are 100% sure you have decided on the direction you want to go in and the name.
Once you purchase and register a domain it cannot be edited. If you later decide you do not like the name (or if there is a grammar or spelling issue) you would have to purchase a new one.
It is completely fine to continue to build out your siterubix subdomain for right now. Once you are ready to purchase your own .com domain, it is a quick and easy process to redirect your website from the siterubix to the new domain :)

You can use the siteRubix site until you are in training and good/ comfortable then you can buy your own Domain.
Later on, down the road its easy to transfer anyway, in one hand Michael is right its not that pricey:)
Just give up a coffee a day, LOL! Of course it's all up to you what you decide.:-(

Hi Kee, you don't have to buy a domain but it is definitely recommend to purchase a dot com domain. The price is about 15.00 dollars for the whole year.

No, you don't have to buy a domain until you want to. You can keep on using a free SiteRubix site.
Thank you, right after I posted this I saw in the following lesson that the importance was more so based on having ownership. So I went ahead and bought it anyway lol.

I see you've made the jump already friend. So, there is no need to keep siterubix.com. You're paying for something and you would want to look more professional without having siterubix attached.

If title and tagline, settings > general edit and save changes.
Go to your WP "dashboard." On the left scroll down to settings. Then when the widow comes up click "general." You will see second from top, under your "Title" - "Just another Wordpress site". That is where you can change it to say whatever you like.
It's the description of your site. Go to WP Dashboard - Settings - General. Over there change the Tagline.
Thank you...now that time it actually worked! LOL I swear every time I went to general settings it kept bring me to All In One SEO and I couldn't change it. I appreciate you replying so fast.
