I've decided I want to start adding an article to street articles weekly but im not quite sure how to go about it.

1- should i copy and paste existing posts from my page

Thanks everyone :)

I would focus on your site and not do articles.

You need to be careful for it is a no no creating duplicate content, you can always create posts just for street articles

I would use different keywords - because if you write an article for street articles you will then be linking to a relevant page on your site. You don't want exactly the same information. And no you mustn't cut and paste information from your site because this counts as duplicate content and is frowned upon.

Yes you should use a keyword in the title and the first paragraph for SA just like on your site. :) Beverley

Can I write an article and provide it with links to my site, or I am not allowed to do this in street article?

You can find some information here and there is a link that will give you even more information https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/bis/blog/street-articles-do-s-and-dont-s-infographic

Than you!

Can you guys check out my website, http://savveycoffee.com/ ?
Am I doing something wr

Thanks everybody. I'll be sure to follow your advice! I really appreciate the critique, and constructive criticism.

On quick inspection I can't see anything wrong with your site. You've only been in WA a little over a month. You worries may be premature.

Never doubt your personal power. Continue to put your authentic self out there in your content and the results will be evident in time. Let the word SUCCESS be your dominant thought and do not let any other thoughts in.

I like your site as much the second time as I did the first. I have no answer for you, I would only suggest that you continue to write being sure you have the words you need until you get the traffic you are looking for.

I think your site is looking really good - read this, it may shed a little light on google and ranking etc. - it just takes a little time.

Just a comment on the general look of your site not the content. I think it looks very nice and professional. The colours and images really do reflect your subject extremely well.

I like it :-)

I would listen to what Beverly says. Get your content right and you'll have great site I think!

Well done for getting your site up and running.

I looked at some of your posts eg brewing methods and I cannot see how you are using keywords. Are you using them in the title and in the first paragraph? I couldn't pick them up.

I also found your style of writing occasionally difficult to follow in that you don't really lead people into the content in anyway eg. French press method. You describe this as the most delicate method but by the end - I had no idea why. You second sentence is "Did you know that coffee contains bioactive micronutrients… " I expect the answer from most people will be 'no' and most people won't care. You obviously have an interest in coffee but you need to entice other people to share your passion - that currently isn't happening. (I did look at every page and had that feeling on each occasion).

I would also finish your posts with a question to encourage people to comment eg: What is your favourite pressing method? (This is just an example)

:) Beverley

You have a lot of eCommerce shop pages showing on your menu which look like their from the theme your using. These can be deleted on an affiliate site, remember your goal is to guide people toward your affiliate links and the less distractions and clutter your website has the higher conversions will be.

Hi Rizzer,
I have joined a few affiliate program, do I have to put in a disclaimer for every one of them?

Most will accept a broad affiliate disclaimer on your website (which you should have anyway) but always check the term and conditions of any program you join for special cases like Amazon.

What a lot of people don,t understand is firms like Amazon will only start taking a closer look at your site when they have to pay you. Its not nice to see that virtual pot of money vanish because you forgot to read (or ignored) the manual.

Hi KC
Had a look at your site and noticed a few things.

Many of your links to Amazon are not formatted properly and lead nowhere, sort of hard to make sales this way :). Also you have nothing on your website identifying it as a member of the Amazon affiliate program as outlined in point 10 of this operating agreement https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/agreement/ . This is a requirement of working with Amazon and they will happily close your account without it.

Even though the front page of your website leaves little doubt as to what its about it looks a bit bare, I assume that,s a blog roll so maybe adding some excerpts may help.

Word count per post is low and could do with improving, you've gone down the low hanging fruit keyword route on some of your posts but not many. Might be a good idea to have another look at the keyword training to see if you can pick more long-tail keywords.

Please don,t take this the wrong way but the site feels like its been jumbled together with no set style from one page to another. Trying to create a bit of uniformity of layout across a website does make it easier for people to read.

On the plus side SEO is pretty good apart from maybe using a few more h2 headers.

Hope this helps

Hi Rizzer, do we have to put point 10 as a disclaimer?

Oh yes, although many miss it out. It can go at the bottom of your privacy policy, on its own page or in the footer of your website. The first 2 are the best because if its in the footer its on every page of your site then search engines count the words and start to rank you for terms like "Amazon" and "Affiliate"

I will work on the suggestions you've made, thank you for being straight forward!
Ill do a second round of keyword training.
I did mention that I am an amazon affiliate in my about page, should I have it somewhere else on my site too? Or is there a banner I'm supposed to use?

LOL, didn't see that, the wording is correct but it would be better placed at the bottom of the privacy policy leaving the about page more personal.
