The power that creates worlds is within you.

When we have a goal many of us believe that we achieve that goal through hard work, a lot of effort, and even a lot of stress and strain. There is no doubt we will need to focus and apply ourselves but there is another way we can choose.

If we approach our goal with the "no pain, no gain" mindset we can acieve success but we may also end up using a lot more energy and end up feeling exhausted and frustrated. Because of this we may even give up before we reach an attainable goal.

As we move through each day paying attention to how we feel is important feedback. Our feelings, or sensings, are a built in system that can help us align with our goals and intentions. All we have to do is remember to tune in.

To connect with this creative power here are some suggestions:

1. Start you day with a form of meditation. If you have not tried this before start with 5-10 minutes and work up to 20. Some people sit longer and some sit a second time in the mid-afternoon. This second practice refreshes the nervous system and offers energy for evening activities. Having a meditation practice brings us in direct connection with creative power. It is well documented that a regular meditation practice creates more connections between the left and right hemispheres of our brain. Cool! In time we actually feel smarter and more self aware. This is a good thing for everyone who wants to reach their goals in life and even go well beyond. Anything is possible.

2. Each day set your intention with a relaxed openness. If you have ever practiced yoga or thai chi the idea is to balance dynamic energy with an ease of effort. Have you ever heard of "being in the zone?" Every successful athlete, performer, or creative person tells us that when they have achieved their most memorable successes they felt in sync, open, relaxed, and had a feeling of power flowing through them.

So, If you would like to reach your goals with more power and ease then go within. Make this a dedicated part of your daily practice for success.

Remember to be kind and gentle with yourself. Each day brings us new opportunities to practice what we are learning. Everything will work for our good.

So draw your bow back and connect with the dynamic power that creates worlds and hit your target.

Hi Kristina. Good day. I read and liked all your posts. I like the remind to always remember to be kind and gentle to yourself. With all the tasks we set for the day, we usually end up upset and stressed for not completing the set tasks. Yes, we have to tell ourselves too that we did a great job today and these others can still be done tomorrow. We should chill once in a while. .Great for the mind, body and spirit. Love this post. We're still going through some pretty long nights most nights with our little ones, and on top of both working full time & all the other life stuff we all do, it gets very easy to feel like a zombie half the time.

Because of all that, I keep thinking I should try some meditation, but of course no idea where to start, so this is very helpful thanks.

Hi Matty. Check out Headspace. Its an App and easy to do when it’s convenient for you. It’s an excellent resource I’ve found to learn to meditate and to create more mindfulness in our daily lives. All the best!

Really good job Kristina and great advice my friend! I really should meditate more. I also need to start back doing yoga daily or almost daily like I used to not to long ago.
