Wealthy Affiliate, like most online businesses, uses USD. Are you in USA? If that's not the problem then perhaps your financial institution is making the charges.

Thank you, I have contacted both Kyle and support. I am going to call the bank in the morning even though it doesn't look like it is on the banks end of it. Appreciate the help. Blessed Be Kari

Google is slow to recognize a new site. However, your site must be indexed and hopefully be ranked by Google before it will appear on their site.

Please be very clear as to where you are typing in your URL and what you wish to accomplish? I will be glad to help. Mike

Yesterday I finally got to the point where every other comment earned me .50. I had 43 hours left in my earnings ability. When I got up this morning....I have made 4 comments a

Thank you ladies for your help. I am just going to walk away from this today and start fresh tomorrow. I should get a response back from the one that brought me here by then. Blessed Be and Have a great day!

hey hi Kari -- good question of yours -- the credits for site comments works on a 30-day history plus there's some specific criteria that need to be met before one qualifies for it ...

here's the post by Carson on Site Comment 2.0 that'll give you some helpful information, background, context to work with ...

all the best, cheerio ... :)

Thanks for the info BUT this is what it says...you can now earn WA Cash credits that have a value of $0.50 each. Maintaining certified commenter status will pay you for comments that you are offering in the form of WA Cash credits that can be exchanged for USD through your credit dashboard! The statis that I must meet and DO

Minimum of 50 comments offered
Minimum of 80% approval rate
Maximum of 20% skip (not interested) rate

SO WHY do I not receive this????

question -- did you meet the requirements to be a 'certified commenter' first of all? ... check the fine print ... :)

That was in my response to you right there at the bottom...
The statis that I must meet and DO

Minimum of 50 comments offered
Minimum of 80% approval rate
Maximum of 20% skip (not interested)

these are my stats:
rate 96%
Comment Approval Aim for 80% or higher
Skip Rate 1%
Aim for 20% or Less
Certified Commenter

You are Certified!
63 Comments with 96% approval and 1% skip rate

Ok, let's think about this. Obviously, you don't get paid for the first 50. If the system was working as expected, you would then get paid $0.50 for comment number 52, $0.50 for comment number 54 and so on.

So, of the 13 comments you have given, after being certified, the maximum you would have earned so far is $3. (6 comments x $0.50). And you have said your earnings show $2? So, actually, you are only $1 down.

yes, Because I stopped When I proved to myself that the .50 cents was not being applied any longer. I even did a couple extra to make sure. I do not know why. but I am not going to waste my valuable time if it is not going to be worth it to me...Just trying to get a little to help with the 50 bucks a month until I get rolling. You know?

and sorry but that would be 12 comments for 6.00 right?

You don't get paid $0.50 for every single comment. It's for every other comment. In other words, your first comment gets nothing, your next one gets $0.50, then the third gets nothing and the fourth gets $0.50

So, 12 comments gets $3

Okay, My math tells me that every other one gets me .50 so for every four comments = 1. 00 and that would make 12 comments =3.00. Thank you the frustration has messed me up a bit. Thank you and I am sorry for the confusion. Still going to stop until this is cleared up. Not getting the $$ that was explained to me so....done for now. You have been helpful Diane and I appreciate it.

Hi - there has been a lot of unhappiness around commenting just recently. It seems that people have been assuming that when you reach certified commenter status, you receive $0.50 for every alternative comment. However, Kyle and Carson have clarified that it is just "an opportunity" to be paid.

Can you explain this more please. Every 2 comments is suppose to get you .50 cents after reaching the ability to earn. It gives me a box that tells me what I have earned so far. I reached 2.00 and then nothing after that and I have made about 6 comments since.

That's what I'm saying - everybody thinks that you get $0.50 for every 2nd comment, but it doesn't actually work that way. I spoke to Kyle in Live Chat about it, and he said it is down to the platform's economics as to how many are actually payable. It seems as though it has been an unlucky day for you.

To be honest, I got fed up with it, and now I am no longer a certified commenter.

This is very disapointing and totally upsets me. I have left a total of 13 more comments. Great comments and I get nothing for my efforts. Was hoping to get a little to help with the 50 bucks a month but now I don't know if I can even stay premium member without that little bit of help. .......

To be honest, that does seem a lot if you have left 13 comments without any of them being paid. If you only got certified yesterday, then you obviously can't have slipped below the required 50. I assume your approval rate is over 80%.

What do you mean by having 43 hours left? Its a rolling programme, so as long as keep up to 50 comments over 30 days, you remain certified.

So you understand my confusion. I have read the qualifications and met them to a T...Getting more upset with this

Awesome, you've just added 24 hours to your Priority Queue!

Hi Kari,

I think this is something you may want to reach out to SiteSupport about for them to take a look at. Just click "Websites" on the left hand side of the screen and then "SiteSupport" near the bottom of the pop-up menu and submit a ticket so that they can take a look.

Thanks!

Why did I not get another 24 hours?

not ready for paypal

A lot of the affiliate programs want your paypal account for a means of payment while signing up, so it is best to have it before you start applying for affiliate programs.

Hope this was helpful.

I seldom use PayPal. For products and services I use bank transactions

It doesnt hurt to set up an account It is free. I have had a Paypal account for over 10 years and have used it for paying for services or goods to receiving payment for sales.
I would suggest you get a business account

You don't need to set up PayPal until you actually need it as a payment gateway for a product you're selling or are affiliated with. Some suppliers require PayPal, others will do a direct transfer to a bank account.

Do you have to set up paypal right away or can you wait ?
