One Note Song
I don't want to sound like a "one note" pony by talking about alternative food growing methods so I'll read a lot of other blogs to get a better idea of things people want to hear about. Alternative food supply techniques and being prepared with personal store of things to eat as adverse situations a rise are near and ear to my heart. This is my passion. But i don't think everyone to hear about it. Please suggest other things I should talk about.

I don't see you running out of things to talk about in your niche - just be well rounded and add some where, why, what, when etc. I saw a vertical hanging herb garden today, made from string and 2 liter bottles - so cool!
I have to say there is no limit of things that someone (not necessarily everyone) would enjoy reading. Choose something / anything you feel like and imagine being the one in the audience who just noticed your content. Know what I mean?...............Jim
There is an audience for ever niche. With the toxins that are in today's food, many people are looking for healthier foods that are safe for them and their family. Imagine an upside triangle with 'Healthy Foods' being at the top. Then narrow that category down even more to what you want to focus on, such as 'Clean Eating' (this would be your second triangle). Next if you want to narrow that down even further you can say, I will focus on clean eating for 'Vegans', this will be your last triangle (the smallest). I hope this kind of help you understand how to hone in on your passion and the area you wish to target.
WA is helping me hone in on some skills I already possess. This is totally a win win for me. Thanks Eddy!
There may be more people interested than you think. Mothers are always trying to find ways to get healthier food into their families. Come up with some benefits that would get ordinary people interested.
What about writing about what to do with the food that has been grown by alternative methods. Recipes?
If you know the subject it will save you time on research. You have to have a passion for what you write about because you have to write a lot of content.
Stick with the healthy food perhaps just expand from growing to things that are good for you and why. People need to start eating less processed foods and they need to understand why.
I would stick with it. There are a lot of searches out there. You just have to find the right keywords, I guess.

As Kary said, recipes, storage, what benefits do I get out of growing my own food? Various methods, organic vs hydroponic, advantages of permaculture, disadvantages of permaculture, how to get started for people who have never gardened before a day in their life, awesome and interesting books to read, youtube clips, and DVDs I should watch?
It's not about being a one note pony, as you say :) It's about having a single idea and then finding new and interesting ways to approach it. The most important thing is, don't come off sounding like a zealot or like you're lecturing people. Who turn off for most readers. Now, you can be a zealot absolutely, just don't sound like it lol.
Instead of approaching an article with 'This is the reason why you should and if you don't you're dumb, gonna be sick and have your ears fall off...' try 'Hey guys, I discovered this interesting fact about X. Did you know that according to recent studies done at GHI university, X can have some serious side effects? Let me share with you......'
The second is much more chill, friendly and approachable. Not saying you've done any of this, just giving some examples :)
