Well it happened ....apparently I did not sell anything thru my website at Amazon and they have cancelled my membership....what now????
Hi - you can re-apply and will be accepted immediately, but you will be given a new ID. None of your old links will work, you will have to swap them all over.
I would wait until you have a reasonable amount of posts, content, and traffic. Then apply to Amazon again. You will need to change all of your Amazon links on your website as well.
I would wait until you have more traffic and then re-apply, there are other options without this rule...it happen a lot so I would not over worry..

You can always re-apply to Amazon and you will get a new associate id. Make sure if you have any of their items on your site you use the have the new id.
Best wishes,
Michael

Well I received an email from Amazon the other day stating that I need to sell 3 items in the next 90 days or I guess I am out as an affiliate?!? Has anyone else received such
Hi - when you initially join Amazon, you have to make 3 sales in 180 days. They then give you a further warning that you have only 90 days left.
If you fail to meet the target, then you can reapply again immediately and will be accepted, but you will be given a new ID. None of your previous links will work, you will have to swap them over, which can be time-consuming, depending on how many you have.
To be honest, you are unlikely to have enough daily traffic to meet their target with only 15 posts. Ideally, you should be writing 2 or 3 posts every week.
By the way, don't forget your Affiliate Disclosure, Amazon is very strict about this. Affiliate Disclosures, FTC Guidelines, and Amazon Rules
Yes I have had it happen and yes I did get kicked out my first go around with my blog. I have since reapplied and now make regular sales. Don't sweat it. I know it looks and feels bad, but don't get discouraged!
So did I when it happened to me. I nearly cried lol. But I realized it's essentially like timing out. You will get your sales going and once they take off they usually stay consistent enough to stay in the program. :)
