Hey It Only Took a Year.
Yes I could have hunkered down and done more and achieved more, but you can't do it all, all at once. There is a process to success in all things and when you try to skip around and jump ahead, well you usually just fall behind.
Am I a Failure?
No, I am a success in progress, and now is the time to move from learner to doer. Not just a doer, though, but a doer in order. I have been "doing" a number of things this year, but with no logical order ( read: jumping from one training module to the next without taking action and mastering the previous task, or worse, trying to jump to the end without standing at the starting line) Hence, the layout of the Getting Started training, and Online Marketer Certification Levels ( BTW, thanks Kyle for not giving us all the levels all at once)
I often think it would be better for me if I couldn't even click to another lesson until I ticked the task boxes for the previous one, in other words, once a lesson is completed, it activates access to the next one.
Am I a Success?
Yes, because I am not quitting or giving up or in. I am moving forward with confidence that I can do this, that I can achieve my goals and dreams, I know I can, I've never not known it deep inside, but I have allowed myself to be stymied by self doubt from time to time and have become sidetracked. Yet, I have seen many here log there efforts, their ups and downs, their achievements and successes, some of which were results of knowledge gleaned from what didn't work. So I know it's doable, so keep the success stories coming, and not merely the ones of a grand scale, but every new thing learned and achieved is of benefit to others here. So Please, share on, good people.
Oh, So What Only Took A Year?
Well, as part of starting at point A today with certification level 1, I have finally completed my profile set up by writing my about me section. I uploaded my pic and jumped into chat a year ago, but never shared any of me with any of you. So, if you're so inclined, I would like to invite you all to check me out on my profile page.
Well, that's all, now I'm off like a herd of turtles, moving ever so diligently onward and upward, and I wish the same for you all.
And since it's that time of year, Have a Safe and Wonderful Holiday Season everyone.
Thanks,
Johnney

Thanks Shawn, following you this past year has been one of the things that has kept me hangin on. I look forward to another year of your leadership.
I discovered WA many years ago and never did anything wit it. I forgot about it and went on to something else. Who know how far I would have been if I had stuck with it instead of getting involved in so many loser programs.
Hi Johnney, what a great blog post! I'm really happy to hear that you are going to be taking yourInternet business to the next level by upping the ante when it comes to your training here at WA. It's so easy to skip steps and try to speed up the process of generating a steady income, however it never helps to skip through the training as fast as you can. If you are thorough and diligent with going through the Online Entrepreneur Certification courses here at WA, you WILL succeed. Kyle and I have spent a lot of time putting those together and they really do provide a step-by-step path that will have you building your business in a way that will grow and scale.
Going back to LEVEL 1 in the certification course is a great idea - please let us know how things go!

Thanks Carson, part of holding myself accountable this year will be sharing my progress with the community here as I go through training. So I will be sure to keep posting.
I think that's a great post Johnney. We are all different with different goals and different journeys. Though financial goals are important for many people there's a whole lot more to success and I salute you for being you and for recognising your own success and persistence. Lots of the best for your next year Johnney. P.
Great post Johnney.
As you said, you cannot fail unless you give up. Just make sure to take action and utilize the things you've learned and there literally is no other path except success.
I wish you the best and may you prosper well in many ways.
Happy Holidays to you and anyone else who reads this.

That's the way to go Johnney - onward and upward. It's OK to take a breather now and then, but don't stop completely! Best wishes for your future success!
