What is Your Passion?
As many of you know, I have been making a major move. The move is done, however, I don't know if the unpacking will ever be done. LOL Downsizing is hard, hard, hard, BUT I will accomplish!
That being said, I have had some time to think about some things when I've been driving up and down the road, by myself at times, trying to get everything moved from one location to another. There were times that I was able to get online and do a few things, but for the most part, all remained how I had left it back the middle of January or so.
I did more reading, than commenting, more watching than doing, and more thinking. There were some things that I saw that disturbed me, but made me think. There were other things that I saw that educated me and helped me to realize what my passions are. (I already knew that but had been getting confused because some try to convince you that you are on the wrong path.
We all have different passions and different ways of getting where we want to be. Some of us are very quiet and want to keep everything to ourselves. Some of us are outgoing and what to give our opinion on everything that comes along. Some of us are very friendly and enjoy helping others with all of our being.
Just because one person reaches out to everyone they meet does not mean that have bad motives or underhanded motives. Just because someone hardly socializes doesn't mean he/she is unfriendly or stuck up or greedy. Just because someone has to express their opinion at every turn doesn't mean that they are always right.
This is another lesson in tolerance. I don't mean tolerating the things you know to be wrong, but tolerating those that don't think like you do or don't operate like you do. Some may not have your writing skills or your knowledge, but then they can relate to others and motivate others because they are not perfect or they are not as skilled as some. They are real people and don't try to pretend they are something else.
I kind of stopped reaching out here because I felt I had been preached to and scolded for adding new members and reaching out to them. I had to work this all out in my mind and soul. All of my motives here have been pure and honest. Those of you that know me, know that. I know that and I KNOW my true passion is to help others.
I have been in affiliate marketing for over ten years, most of that time has been educating myself and learning and growing. Last year I decided I was going to do this full time instead of a hobby and I hit it hard. I love doing it and I love helping others solve their problems. I also love helping people that are trying to achieve their goals thorough affiliate marketing.
My opinion on how to do that may differ from others, but I am successful in my goals and I am reaching my goals. Others do things different than I do and they are very successful too. My main thing is getting to know people, interacting with people, and knowing that at the end of the day I did reach out and I did help others. No amount of money will ever give me the satisfaction that helping someone does.
However, money does pay the bills and if I am going to be able to keep doing what I love to do, I must make money in this venture of online business. It cannot be a hobby anymore.
Now, passion means a lot. You can sell stuff and not have the passion for the product, and that's okay. But there has got to be something you are passionate about in order for you to enjoy what you are doing. My "job" is not a "job" now because I am doing what I love to do!
I do hope that you are doing what you love to do and that you have a passion for something in life. Don't lose your direction...keep it. Not everyone will like what you say, what you do, or how you act, but if it is you, it is you.
Examine YOU, not others, to see if what you are doing is really what YOU want to do. Once you have passion you will succeed. If you have a passion for making it in affiliate marketing or even online business, follow the training here, stay on track, and be you -- you will reach your goals in ways you never thought possible.
Wealthy Affiliate is still the place to be for the best training, the most compassionate people I have ever met, and the friendliest group I have ever been associated with online.
Love to all and have a GREAT day!

Great post, great message, with which I wholly agree. Glad you are back, good luck going forward. BTW we downsized three years ago and finally managed the unpacking of the last box just last year!

Hudson.
Thanks, Hudson! Are you serious? Last box last year....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
LOL
Have a GREAT day!
Very well said. I agree with you. I am not a big social person. But I know being more social will help grow my business, so I try to be more social.
It can be hard to let go and get to know people, especially when you don't see them. It is hard to trust and you need to know how much you can really share. But we all always need to realize that there is a PERSON on the other end of that comment, suggestion, or idea, and be kind to all. As my daddy always said, kill them with kindness. Also, I think you have to learn to be real. You don't have to share your whole life with them and you really don't even have to use your real name if you are not comfortable with that, but you do have to be real.
Thanks for the comment and have a GREAT day!
