Aside from the template that Godsmack12 referred to, you might find this training from Jay valuable: FTC & Affiliate Links/Affiliate Disclosures

I haven't figured out how to insert a picture into my niche blog in WordPress.
I had no problem with the AF blog I wrote. By the way, the pictures I used from the library
I used the multimedia area in WordPress and uploaded it from my files. I used Wikimedia for my photo. This lesson is covered in Lesson two section six. Hope this help.

So if you're using Site Content (before you actually post) there's a little mountain icon at the top of the editor window. Click that and either pull images from your library or upload new ones, crop them, apply whatever settings, etc.
It's pretty much the same in the WordPress editor, edit your post, click the mouse where you want the image to be and click add media at the top of the window there and do the same.
I am trying to edit my first post to add pictures. When I pull up the post to edit through Site Content, it shows the pictures. However, when I got to the website, they are not there.
I tried to add pictures through the Site Manager. It does not have the mountain icon.
Any suggestions?
It’s odd they didn’t transfer when you posted. You can add them by editing your post from the site login not site content as you’ve already posted that one. Click on the add media, upload the image and insert it.
I tried that but it wants me to download the pictures from my computer drive/files directory, not the WA Photo Library. Could you see a way to get to the library?
Short of downloading them to your computer and uploading them to your media file I don't know how to access the images outside of site content... Sorry...You might want to reach out to support and see if the images can be referenced another way. I tried to see about using the URL option but I couldn't figure out how to find the original image URLs.
Ha Ha. I came to the same conclusion and just did exactly.
Thank you SO much for all your help! I know you spent significan time with me.
If I can ever be of assistance to you, please let me know.
It’s the same as the content editor eg. Put your cursor where you want the image and then click add media (it’s up the top right) then upload from your computer.
Hope that helps.

Thank you for your help HeidiY. We figured out how to get the pictures on my previously posted blog.
Have a great evening.

I am following several members, and some are following me. What does "following" comprise of?
Thanks ~ JoAnn
People following you will get an email notification every time you post a blog just like you will receive such a notification every time someone you are following posts a blog.
Thank you. Then I guess that activity not only will give me feedback, but also will help my Google rating.
It only applies to your WA activity and has nothing to do with your site, so it won't help your Google ranking for anything but WA blogs.
Did you get an answer to your question? I've been here awhile and I'm still not sure about that.
If you have email notifications turned on, you will get notified of new WA blog posts of those you follow. It also allows you to see a member's 'follow me on' section, which is not displayed to anyone not following the member.
You mentioned having email notifications turned on. Is that done in WA? if so, how?
I don't think I am getting email notifications of new posts from those I am following and I would like to.
