Embrace Failure - Experience The Edge Of Success
When I joined Wealthy Affiliate, I did not expect to fail as much as I have experienced it. I really came in knowing that failure is part of life, but wow... However, I noted something interesting along the way... I was failing forward. Let me explain.
Failure is NOT Ever-Present
I have experienced failure on every period of my life, regardless of the plans, goals and objectives I may have established. Something always failed. And yet, today those past failures seems minute as compared to where I am in life.
What I categorized as failures in the past, are now the experiences I can use to make decisions today as I seek different results and outcomes. And as I learn from the new results, I get to experience the new and exciting things of life. I no longer remember most of those memories as failures, but as failing forward experiences.
The Limits of Failure
When I look at where in my Wealthy Affiliate cycle I am today, I can start to see several websites, articles, interested customers and momentum building up. I can sense that all the failures from the past are now becoming less obvious.
The Wealthy Affiliate training is becoming more exciting as I complete every step and my dream of becoming a successful online entrepreneur has becomes more tangible. Also, the conversations with our community have become more frequent and in turn, community conversations have become part of my daily habits.
The Edge of Success
I have never been a successful online entrepreneur. I have read blog posts and seen videos of it and dreamed about it. So far, that title is still at a distance from me. I can happily say it is a shorter distance, and I continue to take steps to reach that goal. But in any case, I truly feel that the subjective line that separate failure from success is no longer unreachable. I can sense the edge of success.

There is no such thing as failure. There is only feedback. As long as we learn from our "mistakes", we will make it to the top :-)
Keep stumbling across posts that catch my eye today.
Anyway, I like your reply a lot. Have the exact view about life in general. There is no "success". There is no "failure". There is only a result. Feedback. We do something (even if that something is choosing to do nothing). Something happens (even if that something if nothing). It's just a result. Basically it is just data. So many people take it personally and that shuts them down. :)
Exactly. One thing I've learned from studying successful people is that almost always they literally "failed" their way to success... it's just a natural part of the process.
Terrific post and so very true. With failure just remember, 'this too shall pass' The days will whizz by and those baby steps, falling forward will ultimately create success.
Have a successful productive day.

Hi J, I like you own words" Failing forward", like anything in life, we had to stumble, fumble to get it perfect, I always use the analogy of a "baby learning to walk" can you remember how awkward it was watching, any parent will attest to this, but the baby did not care, they were excited for the "newly found hobby", because they been sititng there watching us walk; they could have easily given up; instead they tried and perfected the steps until they could walk perfectly. We the adults were excited for the baby, clapping, encouraging, cheering on and motivating for the baby steps to be practiced until they were fine. I believe it is the same principle that applies here on WA, "fake it until make it", great post. Please continue you are on the right track.. best of luck with your future endevours.
Thank you for the appropriate analogy and comments ZinziM! We start crawling then we can walk or run at Wealthy Affiliate. We also have the community clapping and cheering for us. It is the right place to be.
