Hi Virgilia,
Don't worry. You're not the only one who's been having problems. I'm completely new to this as well and have had my fair share of frustration with my website because I want to customise EVERYTHING, which means having to learn alot of new stuff. So just keep up the training and things will come together. Everything is achievable with time and the right attitude. Best of luck and a happy and prosperous 2014 to you : )

Whatever you do, keep it simple. Soon enough, it'll be second nature ;)

I want to thank all of you for your advice. I've completed the training up until the build your website lesson. I chose a theme and went through all the particulars, however, I'm just having a hard time putting it together, the menus and posts, and pages, all of this is so new for me, and proving to be quite frustrating. But Rufat I will be checking out those links right away, thank you so much (:

Take a deep breathe and relax. It is a lot to take in. The fact you got a website up and content on it, even if you weren't happy with it, shows you are taking the lessons in and succeeding. Pat yourself on the back :)

Give yourself some time off, just a day or half day. Do something fun. Let the brain relax, then come back and start from lesson one again. Just take it slowly, there is no rush. You will get there.

I'm not being condescending here, but you didn't say exactly what you weren't understanding so I'll go basic. A menu is a list of pages on a website so people can get around. The page and post work the same way pretty much. Basically a page is one article, that's it. A post is a series of articles that get put on a page one after another - the blog.

When you build your next site (and I know you will) take your time and if you have questions, come here and ask them. Doesn't matter how many times you ask, or what. No silly questions, only silly people - and they are silly because they never asked!

Dear Virgilia, If you follow certification courses then you shouldn't have any problem. There are lots of additional tutorials within WA apart from the certification courses. Just type in the search box the subject you need and it will show up. If you can't find it within WA, I am talking about WordPress only!, you can find it easily on YouTube. I personally had serious problems building website and some of them were easily solved thanks to YouTube. WA is a great source, but I think that Youtube is something we shouldn't disregard. Sometimes it helps!

Can you give us some more information about what went wrong and then hopefully we can help.

Hi Virgilia.

How far through the training did you get? Did any of it not make sense. Let us know what you're frustrated with, and we'll try and help you.

All the best, Mark

I know frustration is definitely a part of learning stuff like this. Everybody on here experiences it to some degree. Next time you are having issues like you've been, don't delete the website. Do come on here first as it might save you a lot of rework, having to do everything over again.

rufat has a great line-up for you :)

Are you working with the lessons? If you are and you are having problems understanding them or how to write content, definitely ask questions. There are many folks on here who can help you.

Hi,

I was introduced to drop shipping about a month ago, but haven't really gotten into it. It seems difficult to find legit companies that drop ship by searching through Google. There are companies that provide a database of legit drop shippers but you must pay a fee. I don't have that kind of money upfront right now to pay for this type of access, so I'm kind of at a stand still with that. It was when I continued my search online for a different way to start a business online/make money online that I learned about WA. After being a member for about a day, I am not certain that I even want to pursue drop shipping anymore. I'm still trying to figure out what's good for me.

Ashley

Thanks for the info, I'm in the same place..trying to find my niche! I love this site..there's so much info..it's like so good it's overwhelming..but in a really good way! If that makes any sense!

I have tried drop shipping on eBay, but here in Australia there are not many local wholesalers prepared to drop ship.
The wholesalers that are prepared to drop ship are also selling there wares on eBay so naturally they are more competitive than the likes of myself.
A friend of mine is doing very well selling items on a number of eBay sites, these items are drop shipped from India, so there is a relatively slow delivery time to his customers, but they get a bargain and he makes a good profit.

In my experience being an affiliate is way more simpler. I've just never have been a big fan of drop shipping. Never really caught a break with it.
