Writer's Block: How I broke the log jam.

I am working my way through the first level of training here at WA. I am really impressed by the "color by numbers" easy to follow and implement instructions in the training. I selected a niche, built my first webpage, and now I'm ready to write my first post. I am excited about the prospect of having a web based business. I can't wait to write my first post. I open the web content app, load the template... and...

Nothing.

I try a few sentences. I try a few titles. Nothing.

I play a game for a few minutes thinking I might clear the mental palette. Nope, nada, I am actually experiencing anxiety. Why? I can't say. If I would happen to write the worst post in the history of WA, what would happen to me? Nothing bad. I would just write another one.

So, II went for a walk, still nothing.

It may seem counter-intuitive, but one way past writer's block, is to write. So I opened a blank page on my word processor and wrote a letter to my good buddy. In the letter I explained to him the vast array of free internet resources available for anyone who wanted to develop a strong, positive mindset - the subject of my post. How he could find these resources, and how he could download and implement them. I also explained why might want to do this.

I have no intention of mailing the letter, but it got me started. A few hours later, I had my first post.
