My First Sale - Sort of
I checked into my Amazon Affiliates page and found someone clicked one of my links and bought two items earning me the tidy sum of $1.21.
Maybe, I'll hold off on ordering the RV.
They did not buy the linked item, but bought two other items.
Am I excited?
Well, maybe just a little. Woot, woot! Yippie! Hooray! Boo-yeah! Hot dog!I'll try to hold it down. I know some of you are working.
The truth is, it is very satisfying. I know the actual sale is a drop in the bucket as far as money goes, but it represents much more than that to me. I have a long way to go, but this gives me a lot of motivation.
Some might say the sale was accidental, that I merely lucked out. I disagree. While the traffic on my site is a trickle, three months ago, the site did not exist. With tons of help from WA, I created the site and added content. I am following the instructions in the training. I know I have to work on my writing. I know I have to get better at the social media aspect. I will. I am ready.
Thank you WA, and thank you WAers!

Hi William,
I have been blogging for a little over three months. I have been writing professionally in some capacity for over 40 years. Writing a blog is not like writing news articles or technical documents. Think of it like telling a friend about that which you are passionate.
All the best.
