Just say nnnnoooooo!!!!!!!!!!

The phone rings, you answer it, you wait patiently for an answer, but you get a recorded message about some dumb thing you do not want or need. Just say no! You go online to find a way to to generate some cash. Make $45,000 a day. It makes sense to you, what they are trying to sell you. So, you buy into their scheme and fail miserably, and they keep your money. Just say no!

Your wife is mad at you because you decided to try another online business opportunity. Now all you hear is how much of an idiot you are. Just say no! Your kids are running around the house while you are trying to work. They are hollering for dad and screaming at the top of their lungs. Just say no!

Your boss wants you to do more work for the same pay. You're already working 60 hours a week and now he wants you to work more. Just say no! The job you have been working for the past 17 years has just told everyone that they are closing the doors. Now you have to find a job in your little town or move in with the inlaws. : ( Just say no!

Why am I writing Just say no? Think of all those emotions that you would feel. Anger, frustration, loss, anxiety, worry, fatigue, defeat, and all the others. If something like this has or is happening to you, yep, Just say no! When you are tired of punching those keys, but you know if you don't, nothing will ever change.

Are you feeling down today? Having a pity party are we? Feeling a little sorry for yourself? Well it's time to get up and moving. Come on get up, GET UP NOW!!!! Go and take a walk around the block, seriously, GO! I'll wait right here for you, go on now, read the rest when you get back. Go!

There, feel better. One culture I love above all others is the Chinese. They do things that have purpose behind them. Every act in the martial arts has a purpose. Just as every weapon has a purpose. When you get in one of those situations that takes you in a whirlwind, Just say no! No I will not give in to defeat. I will not let this set back ruin my life. Say No to defeat, anxiety, depression, anger, frustration etc.

When you are feeling rundown and things are going haywire, take a walk. Stop what your doing, take a deep breath, and get up, take a walk. Taking a leisure walk and stopping to smell the roses will help. When the Chinese get these symtoms, they get back to nature. They take long deep breaths through their nose and out the mouth. Then they do something to help get them back on track.

What do you do to relax and get your mind off things? A walk will help, or maybe a run. Get out and get away from the situation for a while. Take a breath or two. No situation is worth loosing your sanity over. So get going and take that short breather. Once your head is clear to think, then it's time to get back in the saddle.

Great advice!

Totally agree. Walks are revitalizing. Thanks, Jimmy..

Very well said Jimmy, and yip thats life , we gotta keep on moving its the way a human is made ! I've been flying aircraft for many years , and if and when a an aicraft is left on the ground or in the hangar for an unspecified time, deterioration sets in. It needs to fly just like the pilot needs to fly or he to will lose the touch !! Take care , Johan.

Couldn't agree more. I walk every day. Two doggies wouldn't let me out of it even if I wanted to - which hasn't happened yet. It's getting outside into nature in some of shape and form that really makes the difference and not just the movement. Unbeatable combination for helping to set my day off to a great start.

Right to the point. I have felt that way, already took your advice before it came. It's timely given the flood of new information that enters my brain every day. I have learned to pace myself. I set the stove timer for 2 hour blocks and then take a 30 minute break. When my break ends, I feel refreshed again and dive back in.

Some of your comments from those around you can rain all over your enthusiasm and bring your dreams to a screeching halt. With a new baby, who is just precious, by the way, you have a lot on your plate.

Just say no. This one little word seems elusive sometimes but how valuable a little word it is. I'm going now. I'm saying no to further chatting and back to the grind.

Good luck.

I like a bit of gumption with my early morning (UK) coffee. Definitely not a sheep in wolf's clothing are you Jimmy? LOL, loving the attitude, Andy

Fantastic post Jimmy. I personally like to go for a drive in the country. It clears my mind of the crap and the creative juices start to run. I started to take a small recorder with me and I talk what I'm thinking so when I get home I can put my thoughts in to action.

First Class post !!

I really enjoyed the post. Just goes to show, you can choose how you react to things. I have recently started Zen meditation before bed, because I let things get to me & then I couldn't sleep. So, I made the choice not to let it get to me & did something about it.
Gypsy :)

This post was very good. I actually had to get out and take a walk. Most of the time I tune everything out and just draw. Seems to work. Then it's back to work.

I am sure some people need that from time to time Jimmy. I simply focus on a very positive attitude. Every morning I wake up - thank the Lord that I am alive - and say to myself - "who are you going to be today"? Always someone who says hello and smiles to everyone. Piece of cake - do that every day and you will be a positive person in no time.
