About Jimk43
Joined December 2015
I am a 77 years 'young' West Australian pensioner having lived in Perth, the capital of Western Australia, over the last 49 years. I am married with 4 adult children and 3 adorable grandchildren. Since my retirement from my ‘day job’ as an accountant I have been dabbling in Network Marketing, Social Media and Blogging. I currently have 5 blogs which were set up prior to joining WA and my main ones are to do with the topic of health and wellness from which I hope to earn a good online income in the near future. As a cat lover over many years I have set up my WA blog ( Fit Cats. ) which is devoted to healthcare for cats.

Greetings Sir,

I checked out your http://fit-cats.com/ site and really loved the work you have done.
It looks like you don't take comments, so I G+'ed you.

I am currently petless but I have had cats in the past and your information is well researched and written.

All my best to your continued success,
Gary

Jim, nice to hear from you. I just checked out your cat site. Love cats and good looking site. I wanted to leave a comment but couldn't see where to do this. Maybe you need to enable this. Here is an image showing how to do this. Although I used pages as an example you do posts the same way.

And the second image is a hello to you from Katie. As you can she she is really laid back!

As for how it is going here, your number of sites shows that you are going well. So continue on this wonderful journey and keep in touch.

Hi Helen, nice to know you and thank you for your interest in my Fit Cats website. However I am a bit puzzled with your statement that you couldn't leave comments on my site as all posts and pages do allow for comments to be left. I have checked the settings and they do have a tick to allow comments. By the way I was interested to learn that you finally decided to set your roots in Tasmania. My wife and I visited Hobart just over a year ago and did some travelling around Tasmania. We loved the place but coming from Perth it is too cold there for me!. b est wishes to you for your success through WA

You would be surprised how many West Australians have moved here. And why - because of the heat!

I will go back and see if I can find a comment place.

Cheers.

Hi Jim, would like to invite you to join a movement to help each other improve Google rankings. Google rely on "engagement metrics" results (which can be found in google analytics) to determine our rankings in Google search results. Please read further below:

Google is putting more emphasis in User Experience. Because Google can't read human's mind, Google rely on engagement metrics, which can be found in Google Analytics to judge user experience. For examples :
1. Sessions with search : total number of visitors who searched for your website in Googl search
2. Results Pageview / Search : total number of pages visited after clicking into your website from search results
3. Click Through Rate (CTR) : the percentage of users clicking into your website from search results
4. Pageview : total number of pageviews
5. Unique pageviews : total number of pageviews by new users
6. Avg. time on page : average time spent reading a page
7. Pages/session : average number of pages users navigated when visiting your site
8. Avg. session duration : average time spent navigating your website
9. Bounce rate : the percentage of users leaving your website without navigating to a second page

Better engagement metrics results indicate good user experience to Google, which will improve our rankings.

I have started a ranking tool in my site to do exactly that, inviting people within WA community and people from other communities, so that we can get more people to contribute in this movement.

REMEMBER THIS : ALL EFFORT IS WORTHLESS IF NOBODY IS VISITING YOUR WEBSITE.

Using this tool in a consistent manner will effectively improve your Google ranking.

Please visit http://www.kickstartdream.com, and click on Ranking Tool.
