I'm not sure what word Google uses for their procedures but if someone reports to Google that their content has been copied, Google investigates and takes down the content. That's what happened in my case. I reported someone stealing my content and 2 weeks later the content was taken down. Alanna

Always use and write your own content and ideas.

This I described in my training in 2016, all from Google's representatives when they were talking publicly about this issue, Duplicate content issues There is no duplicate content, this is just a myth. It never existed.

If you write your content in site content here at WA, before you publish, it checks that your content is unique for you. If it's not it will warn you.
