Feeling a bit down today
Hi guys
Hope you are all doing well!!!! I have made a decision and a commitment to myself to work as hard as i can on IM, right now this is my only future and my light at the end of the tunnel....but i just seem to be having a down day today, i just told myself that this feeling will pass and i will be going full steam ahead again tomorrow.....
I am busy with the action plan and done with lesson 3 and reading everything i can about article marketing, i guess too much information can just be a bit overwhelming hey.....and sometimes you think in your mind that there is sooo much you must do, but before i joined WA a week ago i have written down 20 positive affirmations and motivators and i read it every morning and every night and sometimes during the day too when i feel not so motivated....and its been working very well.
Also in this last week i have learnt sooo much and i regret not joining WA sooner, WA makes everything crystal clear and i dont feel so stupid anymore, My boyfriend doesnt believe in IM and i am soo psyched up to show him that it can be done and cant wait to get him onboard as well.
I have given myself until the end of the year to make at least 1$, and then the sky is the limit!!!!
I already feel better and rearing to go!!!!
I am sooo happy to be here and i look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with all of here at WA.......
Take Care
Have a stunning day
Jess

Hi Jess :) I agree with everything that Labman, Larry and Barnabus have said. I used to get really defeated on my down days - not because I was down but because I thought I shouldn't be, I should force myself to get on with it. I was wrong. After periods of full on activity, we need a period of rest ... night follows day, winter follows summer etc :) I find being really stict with myself and closing my work area door to ENJOY some time doing something non-cyber gets me both rested and revitalised. Oh and it keeps me in better physical balance as well :) Here's to your happiness and success in all areas Jess :)
Jess, We all have our down days. The unwritten rule is to have twice as many up days. That way you are in the lead. Take some "be with boyfriend" or"self" time every once in awhile. Just like famous plumber and his doable goals and Labman and absorbtion tactics, taking time to make it yours is all you require. Peace .....Barnabus
I get overwhelmed regularly. The "lack of motivation", I think, at least for me, comes from fearing another day of "info overload". I've gotten to the point where I set daily, doable goals. When I've completed the goal, I allow myself some fun time. My entire family laughed and giggled at me when I began IM, yet they laugh no more. Check copies and PayPal transfer e-m's hang all around my work area, with a couple of wise-guy comments mixed in! Go
get 'em!
I know the feeling Jess, this learning is a roller coaster when you start off. There is so much to learn and it all feels overwhelming at times. Take a bit of time for yourself. Try to relax and absorb what you have learned. I know its difficult to turn-off at times I'm going through the same thing. I've found that getting fresh air helps. So when it gets to be too much I take one of the dogs for a walk. This gives me a bit of decompression time but is not excessive. The fresh air clears my head and the ideas gel when I'm walking.
Hi Jess, I think when you look at the enormity of IM and the enormity of its potential, you feel "little" and "how am I going to do this"? It's sort've like looking at the stars in the sky on a clear night. Mind boggling. In the beginning you have to get an overview so you can imagine how the pieces fit together. Then when you take action, settle on a few controllable steps at a time. You don't have to do everything at once. If you're article marketing, concentrate on writing the articles, then start spinning and linking through the article directories. Use recommended free tools to automate wherever you can. Then after you have that under your belt, take on a new set of actions, like social media and bookmarking and if you can afford it, PPC. I would only do PPC after learning as much about it as possible here at WA. Don't rush into PPC. Just know you're not alone with down moods. But they don't have to last long. All the best to you.
