The Event
I delivered the pulled pork and brisket at 11:00 am expecting to see the manager when I got there. Unfortunately, she was on a conference call when I got there. The assistant manager was there but was busy and could not get away. Well this caused me a great deal of apprehension since I wanted to judge their reaction when they first tasted the items that I had cooked for them. I had my grandchildren with me and was unable to stay.
My grandchildren, wife and myself went home. About an hour later I received a phone call from the store manager. She apologized for not greeting but she was on a conference call that she was unable to avoid. She had invited the store managers from two other stores to participate in the Employee Appreciation Day that she was having for her employees.
The event was far better than she expected. She was overjoyed at the quality of the pulled pork and brisket. The other store managers were amazed that she was able to find someone to do the cooking for her. She explained that I was a regular in her store and that I had a website devoted to grilling. As a result of her following my website, she decided to take a chance that I had as much knowledge as I showed on my website. She recommended that they either get in touch with me or to view my website.
Another Beginning
Well this brings me to a dilemma, I now have three stores to grill for once a quarter. I have to do the same grilling for the same store next week. The reason I have to grill for the same store next week is due to her enthusiasm for my product. She told corporate about the quality of my grilling and what my prices were for doing this for her. They are making a special trip to my city not only to view their stores they have here but to sample my grilling. She mentioned that there is a possibility that they would want me to do this for more that three stores but for 500 stores. There is no way I can travel to all of those stores but would have to ship to most of them. This would mean higher prices due to shipping.
I have never even thought about doing such a thing and am not sure that I would want to. The reason I may not want to do such a thing is quality. I would have to hire someone to help me with this and I do not want to share the secrets of what I use in my ingredients. I suppose that I could always hire a lawyer and have a contract drawn up with a no complete clause in it as well as a confidentially clause in it as well. If I do go this route then I am looking at roughly 650,000 dollars per year.
What To Do?
This is a big decision to make off of just a one time meal. I would need to look at suitable buildings, availability of quality product to grill, shipping, number of grills, employees, insurance, and other costs. Would I be able to do this for other companies? What type of advertising to use? The time I would have for Wealthy Affiliate since I want to see others succeed? There are so many things to think of. I do not want to get my hopes up since I have been promised all the shiny objects you can think of in the past. My focus is for myself and my wife. This is a tremendous opportunity. I suppose I will just have to wait and see what the execs have to say about my grilled items.

You are being given the opportunity because it is your time. Grab it with both hands. I know your thinking can be paralyzed with so many unanswered questions. Focus on the good you are going to bring to your family wealth and abundance and the people you are doing this for. I am sure you will find a way to resolve the issue bothering you. do not dwell too much on the past either, focus only on what you are trying to achieve and it will work itself out. do the words Shark Tank sound familiar to you. I think you would have to start a good sized catering facility with all that means. Maybe you should talk with someone who's in the business.
Thanks for the idea. I have several friends in the business and I am looking at around 600K for the initial invest. I will still have to look at options.

Yeah, that sounds about right . Hope it's not like a home renovation where it ends up to be 25% more than the estimate before change orders. lol
But, wait. I thought we all wanted to have a work from HOME business to gain the freedom we ALWAYS wanted.

You just don't know who's looking at your site. Could be a neighbor.

Your wife is probably involved already so, wouldn't it be great for the 2 of you to travel around at the companie's expense and see America, or at least 500 stores worth?!?
I used to handle 1600 + stores and 1900 + direct reports. I traveled all over the US and Puerto Rico with my beloved Shih Tzu and it was a blast - a lot of work, but a lot of fun.!
Tell your wife, if you do it, I said she can wear any jewelry she wants!

Cooking a good smoked meal like that is self-grafting in itself, But getting paid well for your contribution is a great bonus.
If I were you I would find a way to make it happen. You don't get opportunities like that falling in your lap every day
I will have to wait until next week when the upper management come down to try and then we will see.

Your website will explode with a Grill Master documenting everything. Great publicity. Hire an assistant chef and train them. That's how empires are built.
