First review on new site

Hi All,

New site is add to my web site list to the right on my profile page. Besttabletsforkids

Everything is still a work in progress, so lots of work and expansion of the content on the main introductory pages.

I'm excited about this, may not be the highest commission payer, but steady if I get it right, and lots of potential for associated products.

I would like to ask a favour if I may, as the product is an Amazon product I have tried to make sure the the links are suitable for several countries - UK, USA, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. I just wondered if the links work, are you taken to your region's Amazon store?

It would be helpful to know if its working before I get too many reviews up and have to go back and figure something else out or try another product.

I am in the US. The "books" and "travel board games" links worked and took me to Amazon correctly. The link for the Amazon Fire Kids Edition Bundle did not work though. I got an error message that said "Sorry, we couldn't find that page". It was on an Amazon page though, so it was still taking me to Amazon, just not to the page for that product.

I'll check amazon.com for the product itself and may end up putting in a specific amazon.com link for that one.

I am Italian, and I tried your links:

SD card up to 128GB and travel board games - these keywords redirects me to Amazon.it wich is the right

2 year Warranty - this keyword redirects me to an Amazon site in English.
Take a look for yourself - this redirects me to amazon.com, which says that the page cannot be found.
Kid proof case - redirects me to amazon.com, but it seems to have some problems
books - redirects me to amazon.com

I found your article very clear! I have two suggestions for you to improve navigations:
1) links should open on another page. If not, visitors go on Amazon page and lose your site page
2) there are too many links on different products, and you risk to miss the sale

I have 1 question for you: what plugin did you use for redirecting people on their national site? Being Italian and writing for international visitors, I would appreciate your help! Ciao!

Hi, thank you very much for your feedback.
I'll make a few link adjustments.

I'm using AmazonLink Engine plugin FREE, but it partners with geniuslink which has a free trial but is $9/month

You need to be a member of each country's amazon associate program in order to earn commission from sales.

You add each associate id to genius link, on subscription you get API keys to add to link engine and also HTML code which you can add to site header (link adding webmaster code or analytics)

It should then track each link to provide you with data and also take each reader to their local site through even though you have only picked up a link from your own.

From your message though it looks like some may need to be done manually. ie put a link into the site and then manually tell genius link to pick it up from there. -- Still learning.
