If you are using the All in One SEO plugin there is a place there to place the code - in settings keep going until you see the Google Settings section.

If you are using All-in-One-SEO or SEO by Yoast they both give options to add in your Google Analysics ID in Google or webmaster settings.
Failing that you can install a Google Analytics Plugin for this but recommend you choose one without all the code heavy dashboard stuff built int.

How long did it take you to reach your first sale after joining WA? I now this may be a personal question, so only answer if you feel comfortable. I was just hoping for some in
You should plan on it taking 6 months to a year. WA isn't a magical solution that guarantees results. It's just good ol' fashioned structured training. Step by step without taking shortcuts.
As you're into exercise - think of it as a marathon - not a sprint and you'll be fine. First aim should be to build a site that helps solve a problem people have. Second aim is that your content should be better than your competition. Then once you have your audience you can monetize it.
People often give up on sites too soon. They spend hours writing content & get hardly any visitors. But Google rewards persistence. It doesn't want to rank sites that people give up on on Page 1 of the search results. So, anyone who keeps going after the first year often notices that visitor numbers start increasing much faster in year 2 and onwards.

It took me 5 weeks. just small sales so far but will build up over time!
