Wild Wednesday WAs Wildly Wonderful!
Last Update: May 31, 2023
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
Last evening, we did not get the other lawn mowed, but Monica did take me on some errands, and after that, we ate at Sonic--no Sonic Blasts this time though.
No, we don't own stock there yet, it is just good food still at a reasonable price.
Neither of us were up to one, but we did need some actual food.
We had Toaster Sandwich combos and they were both delicious and quite filling too.
Then I finished up some more work on the publishing venture before finally falling into a fitful sleep, though I must admit that when I woke up this morning I was surprisingly feeling fresh and ready to go.
I executed the morning foray into the Wealthy Affiliate Community, and that went without a hitch too, especially with Kitty appearing briefly.
So far, the morning had gotten off to a good start!
There were thunderstorms expected today, but if all goes well, then I should hopefully have my locksmith job this morning done before that becomes a problem.
The funny part about the locksmith job that I thought I had today is that it was tomorrow. The attorney had said Wednesday, so hence the confusion!
No harm, no foul, at least I now know it is tomorrow morning at 10 am, and I also know what I need for it too.
The drive over there had been nice enough, though.
Monica also called me before she heads to work at 10 am too, so I was glad to get a conversation in there, as well!
Then my mother called and she was petrified about people trying to collect a debt from her that was written off in 1990. They were on the phone with her threatening all kinds of things. I told her it was a scam, but she kept going on and on about it.
She had to go because she was at work, but I texted her the above screen shot from the Federal Trade Commission. There are hundreds like them and they prey on Seniors! It is disgusting! She texted back a thanks, but I feel that she is still rattled, and I will likely talk to her later in the day.
She also talked to my Step father, her ex who is a Chief of Police. He said it was likely identity theft, and she texted me that she was going by the Police Department where she lives to file something there concerning this.
Unfortunately, so many Seniors fall into this trap, and it is very sad! I usually chuck everything in the trash when these things come in. They are merely "phishing" expeditions. Don't pay them any mind. If they come online, I delete with no response whatsoever.
My Wealthy Affiliate research portion of the day will consist of re uploading my manuscript with the spelling errors corrected.
I will also tweak the cover a bit and then get it live some time this evening, if my luck holds out.
Since Monica gets off work at 2 pm, sometime this afternoon we will mow at the locksmith shop house, since it has gotten a little sunny off and on. I hope the thunderstorms hold off until later, although I suspect that tomorrow when I am changing locks in the morning it will be coming down like cats and dogs.
This is how the locksmith shop house looked last night while I was picking up the mail and some locks for the upcoming job that I have (now on Thursday).
Depending on how it goes, this new HUMP day has been interesting, if nothing else.
Since I likely will leave earlier than expected, I will post this earlier than usual. I'll be back on the computer later though.
I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAD A WONDERFUL HUMP DAY TODAY! FOR THE MOST PART, MINE WAS SUCCESSFUL!
