Why I Write A Lot About My Daily Activities And How They Relate to WA!

Hey everyone!

I had a quick thought and felt I should share it with you all!

In a great many of my blog posts here in the community, I write about my daily activities to illustrate how I can still manage to fit activities in Wealthy Affiliate into each day despite what my work load may or may not be!

I know many of you are in the same boat--fitting WA into your daily lives: job, family, etc., and the list goes on and may vary greatly for each individual member here!

Wealthy Affiliate and the establishment of our online business are marathons--not sprints (or get-rich-quick-schemes!)

I certainly love what I do--being a locksmith and rapidly approaching 30 years owning my own physical business!

The thing is though, ever since I lost a portion a little over half of my right foot in December 2015, I have moved a lot slower.

I have my good days and my not-so-good days, but I find that the longer I am a member here in WA, the more I want to continue building my additional income sources, while at the same time, consolidating the physical ones that I already have: locksmith, eBay store, and being a self-published author.

Sometimes it takes me a while to act on where I wish to go with WA, but I know, it will be a huge part of my life, more than likely for the rest of it!

All I have to keep doing is moving slowly forward, letting the pieces fall into place. Reorganizing and building-out my stagnant sites is a goal of mine, but in due time--there are still many things that I am organizing in my mind with how I want them all to work out!

At the risk of sounding repetitive, I will still slowly be running the marathons!

The reason I write about my daily activities is that I wish to illustrate what CAN be done in Wealthy Affiliate while we are still living our multi-faceted lives at the same time!

Of course, there will be days when we simply do not get anything done in WA or vice-versa with our regular jobs and lives!

I hope I am not rambling, but as my previous post illustrated, it was a long, eventful day!

ISN'T IT GREAT THAT WE CAN WORK AT OUR OWN PACE HERE?!

I appreciate your sharing of your day to day activities and experiences. It makes me realize that no matter what other stuff is going on, we can still fit WA and it can be done. I love reading your posts. You never run out of interesting ideas to share. Keep going my friend. You are an inspiration.

Thank you for your kind sentiments, James! You are always there with a good word. I could not do it without you and other like you!

Jeff

Keep going Jeff! Thanks for writing your daily post. And thanks for this post as you have shown us how you can manage both physical and online activities so well. Life is a marathon and we go at our own pace!

The constant worry for me is bread and butter issue though.

Thank you very much for the kind sentiments, Richard!

I'm well aware of the other worries, and you and I are not alone--there are. We must make enough money to subsist until we are successful here in WA!

Jeff

You are managing it all quite well, and are a good example to others on here of how to develop multiple streams of income. In our day and age, I think it is almost imperative that we do so.

And, by the way, my ebay store still doing well....keep throwing a couple more pieces in there. Mailed one out today. Have another with a bid that will close soon. As long as they keep coming in rather regularly, I'm fine with it.

That sounds awesome for your eBay store, Fran--mine is moping along right now, but I'm certainly not complaining, You are so right, any avenue from which we can derive additional income is a plus! (except, of course, from illegal enterprises!πŸ˜‰)

Keep up the GREAT work!

Jeff

*** Excellent points, Jeff! ... It's absolutely up to us and it's our own choice as to our work pace and of what to do .... and it's all ok here ....

... yes, I'd prefer to call it a 'journey' vs a marathon .... a journey can encompass a marathon (if one really wants to do one!) .... sometimes, a walk, run, stroll, meander, jog, pause. sprint, hop, coffee break can all be wrapped into the journey ....

....and frankly, you truly don't need to justify anything to anyone other than to your true Self! ....

... Appreciate YOU! ...

keep well, stay strong, all the very best,

thanks kindly for being here, cheerio .... βοΈπŸ™‚πŸŽ‰... ***

Thank you for all of the kindness that you have continually shown me, Keisha!πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸ‘ I'll take that! WA is a JOURNEY--makes a lot more sense truth be told!

Jeff

... lol ... ya -- a marathon? ... really?! ... that sounds like WAy more work than 'blogging on!' .... cheerio .... :)

Very true, now that you say it that way!πŸ€ͺ

well, as it's been said, 'different strokes for different folks!' ...

Very much, indeed, Keisha!

The way I see it - you are blogging for the ordinary folks - the blue collar Everyman (and woman).

I'm assuming there's some individuals on here who only want to read and blog about business strategies, marketing, etc - which is fine - I guess their lives must be perfect all around.

But your blogs give the rest of us hope! You're like Rocky Balboa - showing us the daily grind, good days, bad days, rain, sleet, snow, dogs, cats, family, food, and still finding time to keep going and work on your dreams - if that's not encouraging, I don't know what is.

Wow, Isaiah! I really appreciate your kind words on the subject!

I do get criticized on occasion by many who only want the business aspect! I point out that many people call Wealthy Affiliate a university! Well when I was at Kansas State University, when we were done with class, we socialized. It wasn't just education--everything else involved with the platform simply shows that we are well-rounded individuals who also share things about ourselves and what we are up to with others. Many times from these shared experiences, we are also able to learn things that can work for the business we are trying to build that we might not have learned otherwise!

I never even thought about the hope aspect that you pointed out, but you are right, many peoples' blogs here also give me that same hope!

Enjoy your day! 😎

Jeff
