Tricky Tuesday's Trials & Triumphs!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
I posted my blog post earlier yesterday, since I knew that around 6:30, Monica would be picking me up again so that we could have a nice dinner!
When she finally got off work, we decided on Cracker Barrel.
We were hungry. and we knew the fare would be quite filling. Believe me-it was all that and more! Neither Monica or myself had really eaten anything yet, so it was a lock.
There was a decent dinner crowd inside.
After perusing the menu, she ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken, which was what I ordered when I returned to town after an extended stay at Ron's during the awful arctic blast.
This time, I ordered the chicken fried steak. I also got to take the leftovers home too, so I knew that I would be eating them some time on Tuesday (today).
When she dropped me back off, I put the leftovers in the fridge, got on the computer for a while, and then decided to go to bed.
After sleeping very well, I woke up around 6:30am. I was ready and raring to dive into the vibrant Wealthy Affiliate Community again.
There wasn't a lot of activity this morning, but it still got the new day kick-started in the correct way.
This time around, Kitty did not come into the office. I am sure that I will see her later in the day.
I also re-stoked the fire for another chillier today, which is what we were currently having at 29 degrees,
With that done, along with the morning foray into the WAC completed, I decided to head outside and capture images of the new day, including the title image.
We were at 32 degrees at the time. I was not sure how the weather would progress for the rest of the day, but I did take one final image before heading back inside.
I should have known better. Dummy me! I forgot that it was Tuesday, and there was Humphrey warning us all that another HUMP day was on its way. The weeks are certainly flying by, it seems!
After a perusal through eBay, I found that I sold another item. Not a lot of money after shipping, but right now every little bit helps. I managed to catch the postman, and got that taken care of too.
I received my Veteran's Administration Benefits book, and I have been reading that, as well. There are still a lot of tasks that need to be addressed, so it is never a dull moment here.
Mel Waller reached out to me for a few minutes, so that was nice, as well! I also got to talk to his wonderful young daughter, Melissa Jeane! She is learning things so fast, and that is wonderful.
We chatted for about an hour, and then it was time to get back to business!
I figured that I might eat some of the Cracker Barrel leftovers!
I am still thinking about it.
The weather had not changed very much, I'm afraid, as is evidenced by the next couple of images that I captured this afternoon.
It doesn't matter, since, we might get an earlier Spring than we though that we would. Supposedly, we were at 55 degrees right at the time, but it certainly didn't feel like it to me!
Oh well. we have to play the cards that we were dealt.
About an hour later, I captured some more images of the day, and the weather seemed a little warmer and brighter.
Who knew? Well, this is, after all, Kansas! Wait five minutes, and you might end up with something completely different.
Later in the evening, I might end up at Monica's house for a while, but that still remains to be seen!
I TRUST THAT EVERYONE HAD A TOTALLY TERRIFIC TUESDAY! I FEEL LIKE I DID TOO, ALTHOUGH THERE WAS VERY LITTLE MONEY MADE, BUT I GOT A WHOLE LOT DONE!
Sincerely,
Jeff, the BLOG DOGS, and Kitty

Another interesting post Jeff
We are having similar weather here as well. The groundhog did predict an early spring which I am looking forward to.
I was surprised to see a few dandelions in the yard in front of my apartment building yesterday. That is a sign the ground is warming up already. Still feels cold here during the day with windy days.
For February it is extremely nice weather
Jeff
That is GREAT news, Jeff! We might finally get out of, what in my opinion, was an extremely cold winter!
Jeff
Jeez! I'm so far behind. Now you've made me hungry, after reading about your Cracker Barrel meal. Wish we had one here! However, I do my best -- tonight it's chicken tortilla soup, which I love.
Gonna build a fire even though it's rather late in the day. The evening chill is coming in. Went out and about today...glad to be back inside.
Good to hear from you, Fran. You all have been getting some cold weather up there.
Stay warm and safe.
Jeff🙏
Your leftovers look really good. We don’t have a Cracker Barrel here. It’s so hard to believe that we were in that attic blast. Hav a good time evening
I think that they will be, Kathie! I can't believe the the arctic blast disrupted a good portion of January! I hope that you are doing well!

Sounds like a great day Jeff and it's always good to hear that you have been to Cracker Barrel!
What's the difference between chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak though???
Have a fantastic HUMP day my friend and enjoy the warmer weather!!
🤣👍🍻☃️🐪🥓🐶🐪🐪🐱🐶
Uh, one is Chicken, and one is Steak, Nick! I figured that would be quite obvious!
The warmer weather has been excellent.

I thought that too Jeff, but.... what does a chicken have to do with a fried ribeye (as the name suggests)???
Maybe it is common practice in Cracker Barrel to employ poultry to do the cooking!!!
Great news about the weather though, it's still pretty mild here as well!!
🤣🐔🥩🐪🐪🥓🐶🐶🍻🍻☃️
Yes, it is a common practice there, Nick!

That is what I call thinking outside of the box when it comes to cheap employees!!

Two different meats cooked the same way, Nick! REALLY??
You're missing my point here Jeff!!
Why is it called CHICKEN fried steak???
What does CHICKEN have to do with a BEEF steak????
