Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!

I slept very well again overnight (this seems to be a good habit that is developing). Pf course, I also slept a little later than usual too!

I then took care of the morning care of the furry assistants and some other tasks. When those were completed, then I took the morning dive into the Wealthy Affiliate Community!

Kitty came out of nowhere to assist me in this endeavor.

Normally, a Saturday is a bit laid back, but this time, I have a locksmith job to go look at and hopefully finish. (The latter part did not happen, but they decided on something different, and I will likely finish the rest on another day.)

While I was warming up the truck to head 4 blocks over to supposedly finish the job, I decided that it was time to capture a few images of the new day (including the title image).

Believe it or not, even though these images were captured when the temps were in the low 40s, we eventually made it up to the low 50s.

I knew when I was taking these images that the day was going to be quite nice for a while anyway.

We are supposed to have a very steep drop in temperature this evening, and it will extend over into the next several days! I am almost prepared for that, but it all depends upon how long the cold snap lasts!

Monica called me while I was outside waiting to go. We talked for a while, and then I told her I needed to go, and that I would call her back.

I ended up cruising over about 4 blocks and putting in a new thumb turn and re keying one long. My Edward Jones financial adviser is taking up residence in a building they just finished remodeling that was an old neighborhood grocery store.

As I mentioned before, there will be one more door that I need to re key after the contractors are done installing a sink sometime next week. No worries, sometimes these things happen.

I drove back up to the eBay house and it wasn't long before Monica and I were on the phone again. We chatted for a while, and I told her that I would like to see her before the weather turned bitter cold. I had to run an errand to Walmart and one other store, and she suggested that we meet at Walmart.

Before I left, I made sure that the Blog Dogs had their main meal for the day. They loved it, as usual.

The drive to Walmart was nice since the weather was still cooperative.

It is just west of where Monica's therapy center is.

Her and I had fun while we shopped together! I needed to get dog food and a few incidentals, and she had some things that she needed to get too.

I took a few images of her when she wasn't looking, though she already knew what I was doing. (you can see the top of the dog food bag in my image).

When I had everything I needed, I just followed her around.

We were checking out when my Buddy Kevin called me! Her and I parted ways, but not before I gave her a hug and told her that I loved her. We parted ways at that point.

She went home, and I drove across the street to Aldis to buy a loaf of bread and several jars of their fantastic peanuts!

Then I went to the eBay house and unloaded everything and let the Blog Dogs out to do their business and enjoy the remaining part of a good day while I ran another quick errand.

When I was finishing that errand. Monica was driving past and I called her. She was going to Goodwill to look for some long sleeved shirts, and I joined her over there.

I didn't take any pictures there, but when we left, I did take a picture of how quickly the day changes here in Kansas.

You could also feel the temperature steadily dropping too!

I hope it is not going to be as bad as they say it will be, but I will try to be prepared. The fireplace is ready to go!

The rest of this evening will be spent in both the Wealthy Affiliate Community, and on some more writing!

I TRUST THAT EVERYONE HAD A SUPREMELY SUCCESSFUL SATURDAY PORTION OF FRISATSU TOO!

I CERTAINLY FEEL LIKE I DID!

Sincerely,

Jeff, the BLOG DOGS, and Kitty

Saturday mornings can potentially be the worst times to shop at Walmart, Jeff. But hopefully you guys got in and out.

Hope you enjoy the Bengals-Chiefs game later. ๐Ÿˆ I'm curious to see how Mahomes performs.

Hope you're having a relaxing weekend. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿถ

Isaiah ๐Ÿ˜Š

We were in and out pretty quickly, Isaiah!

The Championship games will be very interesting today! ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ˜น๐Ÿถ๐Ÿˆ

This Frisatsu has been relaxing except for trying to get the fireplace going since the temps are dropping fast!

I hope you are having an excellent Sunday!

Morning Jeff.

It sounds like the rift with Monica is well and truly over. It's good news you are now friends again.

Those trees on your road will be nice in the summer. I'm not much of a gardener but do they blossom in the spring? It would make for a pretty photo if they do.

Paul

Thanks, Paul! That rift runs deep though--I would submit that some softening of it occurred. That is all. I am her fire extinguisher--"in Case of Emergency--Break Glass!"

You can look at images in my earlier blog posts each year, and yes, they are gorgeous! I have several of those!

Jeff

Heh, Jeff." in Case of Emergency--Break Glass!"

Reminds me of the attached picture !!!

I'll check out your earlier blog posts from springtime.

Paul

Very appropriate, Paul! Sometimes I do feel like an emergency band aid, and then when things get better for her, I am invariably kicked back to the curb. I am proceeding with caution since I know who I want!

It reminds me of the 1954 Movie "Bus Stop" with Marilyn Monroe! The young Bo Decker in that movie had a lasso which he used to lasso Marilyn Monroe, and he said "Everything that I ever wanted in life, I just went out and got"

That's my mantra!

Jeff๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘

Sure, Jeff. It sounds like you are still very fond of Monica. I'm sorry but I can't help or tell you how to proceed - I hope things work out for you though.

Cheers Paul

I am, Paul, and no worries! We shall see how it all pans out, my friend!

Jeff

Hi there, Jeff

Thanks for sharing your gorgeous, photogenic, blended family and all the great photos. I'm curious as to what type of camera you use. Very nice.

If Monica adds value to your life, by all means hang on to her. However, other types of relationships are good too - friends with benefits, platonic relationships, accompany-to-dinner relationships, and there are situation-ships - they are all good.

Happy Frisatsu

Rachele
p.s. Did you make up this word? I've never heard it before.

Thanks, Rachele! I simply use my Samsung A21 Phone camera!

She truly does. I've been married several times nad had some of those other relationships. I want Monica to be my last. I have known her for a very long time.

Happy Frisatsu! (Yes, I made it up--Fri Sat Sun--weekend--Shortened to Frisatsu. I even own the fot com for it. ) If I put a website on it, it will likely have posts of things to do on the weekend or something.

You can type in the word on the Goggle Search bar and likely find one of my posts about it!

Have an excellent Sunday!

Jeff

Awesome day for you both. Happy today went so well for you. Tomorrow will be the day for football. Cincy and Philly look tough, but we KC & SF, will prevail in the last seconds I am guessing.

Happy Sunday to come. We got that Alaska front here. Went from 70 to 43 in the day, overnight. 40's again tomorrow.

It was, indeed, David! Yes Football will be prevalent tomorrow! Let's hope that we get that rematch, my friend!

Sorry for your cold weather! We will be getting a big dose of that, it seems!

Jeff๐Ÿˆ

I like the weather this way more than the heat. Enjoy the games.

Yes, though not quite so cold as it is today, David! You enjoy the games too!

Jeff๐Ÿˆ

We got smoked . Without Purdy, we had nothing for the Eagles. They are just the better team. I don't see anyone beating them.

So far, David, we are hanging in with the Bengals, but it is going to be a tough game!

Jeff๐Ÿˆ

That sounds like a good day, Jeff! Glad for you that you had time with M. That blue sky and balmy temps sound super but letโ€™s hope itโ€™s not going to get as cold as predicted. Stay warm and have a good evening!

Susan ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ˜น๐Ÿถ

I must admit that it was, Susan! I was glad to have some time today with Monica too. I am hoping that is not going to get that cold, too, but I still fear that it will! I believe that I might be ready enough to deal with it, but we shall see! I hope you had a great day, and have a pleasant evening too!

Jeff๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ˜น๐Ÿถ

Your winter seems quite mild compared to last year, in my mind anyway.
The last couple of days down here on the Caribbean have been fine, the thermometer is saying 27-30 C across the day, but it has been very windy these past couple of days and the days feel closer to 20-24C such is the chill factor in the wind.
Michael.

It has been Michael--save for one single digit week in December! Looks like we'll be getting another one of those this coming week! Your weather sounds fantastic! Enjoy!

Jeff

Too bad you don't live closer. I've been cleaning and have 2-3 boxes of long sleeve tops and sweaters to take to either Goodwill or Salvation Army. I prefer to take them to SA...the people vs Admin benefit more. Admin at Goodwill make WAYYY too much money. I still have more clearing of clothes to do. I have WAYYYY too much stuff!

I guess I better go check MY weather for tomorrow. It did look beautiful out there today but I was busy in the house. I probably need to talk to you one of these days about a couple things...your Amazon stuff and Ebay stuff. I'll PM you so we can work something out.

Have a good Sunday
~Debbi

you could start a salvagers unite page on facebook or elsewhere, where you can advertise the clothing free to a good family, like a garage sale, without the need to setup / haggle with people for a nickle and use up half a days time setting up

Thanks for the idea!

I wish that I did, Debbi, but the Salvation Army is a good organization. So many people need so many things right now!

PM me anytime, my friend! That sounds good!

Hope you had an excellent day and have an even better Sunday!

Jeff

we have this in our community since COVID-19

I've actually given away a lot of stuff -- clothes as well as household items including an expensive recumbent bike. I've also donated BOXES of clothing to those in need. My church was handling the distribution. I'm constantly cleaning my closets out and TRY not to restock but it happens. ๐Ÿ˜

I hear you, I myself have gotten rid of tons of stuff. My husband on the other hand seems to be a hoarder of sorts

Good on you, Debbi! You will continue to remain blessed!

Jeff๐Ÿ™

I'm a hoarder too, Denise! I do give a lot away though.

you know, I think everyone hoards something in their lifetime, for me it's yarn; yikes can't seem to get enough, but since it's my immediate future plan to move back to British Columbia I am cutting back. Finding good homes for my stuff.

it's the feel of yarn I love. I can look weird in the store to feel the different fibers and if I buy to make sure there is a pattern to be worked on asap

You are right about that, Denise!

I don't hoard clothes. In fact, I hate shopping for clothes! However, don't let me loose in a craft or book store. I too have a "stash" of yarn and I "get it". I have a stash of fabric and paper (I scrapbook) and books as well. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ I've cleaned out a lot of books but still have a lot. Can't resist a sale on books at the library or thrift shop!

Neither can I, Debbi, when it comes to books! I have successfully resold many on eBay!

Jeff
