Soothing & Subtle Sunday Sojourns!

Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!

After I posted last night, I got in touch with a colleague that maintains the warehouse. He wanted some of the heavy machinery in the collapsed basement of the back of the building, so I told him that he could do that.

Not long after we got off the phone, my Mother called and we talked for about a half hour. She said she might see two of her grandchildren for a few minutes when her daughter drops her off at Walmart up there in Alaska for a couple of hours, and then will come back and get her, so that was nice to hear too!

After all of that, I retired early and woke up late. Not a bad start to the Sunday portion of Frisatsu! After a couple of morning tasks, I was immediately on the computer, as usual--the morning news as well as the evening overnights from the Wealthy Affiliate Community.

That went pretty well. It usually does though. This time, Kitty had remained in bed, but we might see her later.

Then came the time for phone conversation. I first spoke with my website collaborator, and we chatted for over an our. Most times that is how my Sunday goes--chatting with people since it is a day of rest.

When that conversation came to a close, I headed out and captured some images of the new day

Then, I decided that I was hungry, so there was an opened face toasted peanut butter sandwich, and some more soup that I had prepared last night.

The rest of this dish will be combined with some chili this evening--at least that is that current plan.

There were very high winds again today, as well. I hoped that they would go away soon, but we had only been in the mid 50s today for the most part, so far!

I also had contact with an Army buddy up in Montana, as well, and we had a 45 minute chat too!

We had not conversed for a couple of weeks, so that was quite refreshing too.

Finally, I had a very quick errand that I needed to run since I was planning to remain home and rest for the rest of Sunday--still working on the computer though. Before I left, I captured a couple more images of the late afternoon. (above).

Then, it was time to head out for a few minutes--probably about fifteen minutes altogether, and then I would return home for the rest of the evening and finish with the newest Sunday! There is still a lot of things to do at the house, as well.

The drive into town was pleasant too!

After completing the quick errand, then it was time to head back home.

When I made it back, I got my new meal started for the evening.

I think it will turn out very well eventually. It will also last a couple of days, as well. For that, I am quite thankful.

The rest of this evening when this post finally drops, will be quite relaxing. I will remain on the computer for a while after that, but then I will be headed to bed to get ready for the new work week ahead.

There will still be a lot of other things to accomplish in the upcoming week since out taxes come due in the US!

ANOTHER FRISATSU IS RAPIDLY COMING TO AN END! I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAD AN EXCELLENT, AND RELAXING SUNDAY PORTION OF IT. I AM DEFINITELY NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT MINE. SOME MEMBERS HERE ARE ALREADY IN THE NEW WORK WEEK AHEAD, AND I WILL SOON JOIN THEM, AS WELL!

Sincerely,

Jeff, the BLOG DOGS, and Kitty

My heading for Sunday would have been "Sank a few stubbies on Sunday" ( stubbies is Aussie slang for beer)
Went to the hospital yesterday and had an MRI on my leg to see why it hasn't got better. Changed meds and am on the improve finally.
Lol, went to a local clinic before hospital which was a total waste of time, He basically just gave me pain medication which made me feel good, lol but didn't help my leg. We realized he was a bit shonky when the power went off during my drip of whatever and then watching the doctor having a shot of something...Lo. Only in Vietnam.

Anyway feeling better and starting to heal.

P.S. The cooking looks great

Thanks, Stevoi!

I do the best that I can!

You can't beat Chili on a chilly day Jeff

I do miss Chili since I am not able to digest beans any longer, many foods now are off- limits due to my digestive system malfunctioning.

You never realize how important food is until you can't eat some of them, but I have adjusted and learned how to come up with other alternatives

Sounds like a great day
Jeff

I know what you mean, Jeff! Sorry about that!

Jeff

A nice relaxing end to Frisatsu for you Jeffrey... but that's what Sunday's are all about!

Great news that your Mother got to spend some time with the grandkids (if she did in the end)...

Have a busy and productive start to the new working week my friend!

Yep!

Looks like a very pleasant Sunday for sure, Jeff! And the weather held up, for the most part. We had a beautiful day here, but now it is back to work for another week of fun and excitement. Haha

Only 5 more days until the next FriSatSu!

Enjoy your Monday!

It definitely was, Tim, and yes only five more days to go back to bliss!

Happy Monday!

Jeff

Glad your mom will get to see the grandchildren, even if it is brief. It's a start in the right direction.

I had a very good Sunday. Got a little work done on the memoir; then had a friend over for dinner. It turned out excellent; then we played a game of Quiddler afterward, which she won. (She usually does.) Now ready to do before-bed chores and hit the hay.

Thanks, Fran. I think so too.

Glad you had a full and enjoyable day.
