So Speedy & So Satisfying Saturday Sojourns!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
First, a recap of last evenings activities--a TACO BELL trip with Monica. I wasn't really expecting it, but she surprised me when she got off work!
Needless to say, I was very happy to see her!
The drive there was quite nice too!
Shortly thereafter, we were there--the benefits of living in a small town.
The drive home was just as nice!
The scenery was spectacular!
She looked tired when she dropped me off!
The rest of the evening was spent watching movies and relaxing! Thus began the new day when I awakened the next morning about 9:30am when Monica called me. The reception at her work was really poor today, so the call did not last very long.
Then, of course, it was time to jump into the Wealthy Affiliate Community!
There were a lot more messages to answer, but that was alright too!
Kitty, once again, was in the zone too! I am glad that I have a little help here!
Then it was time to venture outside and capture some images of the new day too. including the title image!
Even though it was cool at the time, we were still going to catch a whiff of the 90s again.
The it was time to go back inside, where I prepped for another website post on my book promotion site too!
I'll surprise myself on what topic might be for today! I sort of do this off the cuff most times. Notice how that ended up being part of the title for today's book promo website post!
It is always an educational experience!
The day kept progressing and out of the blue, I head from another from another Army buddy of mine from up in Nebraska, and we had an excellent conversation! This one took quite some time to catch up on!
While I was on the phone with him, I received a call to go unlock a residence for an old friend of mine!
I had not done a job for her in a while, but I ended up making $50 on that, so no complaints there! I look at that as being a bonus!
While I was close to the locksmith shop house, I went over there and checked on some things real quick before heading back to the eBay house.
I am supposed to be getting some discounted gas this evening from an ex, so I am looking forward to that, as well! I will have to call her soon. This is the last day for the discount. We shall see what ends up transpiring!
The rest of this evening will be up in the air, so I might post about it tomorrow if something good happens! I am not really counting on that though!
No matter what, more relaxation will occur, and I will also be on the computer for a bit afterwards!
The Saturday portion of Frisatsu is rapidly coming to a close, but it has still been a pretty good one, all in all!
Obviously, it has been a lot slower than I expected, but I will also be awaiting a call from Kevin when he gets off work tonight, since I didn't hear from him when he went to work!
Like for all of us, sometimes things happen that are beyond our control in our daily lives! We just have to suck it up, and roll with the punches!
Samantha send me a couple of images of the Blog Dogs too!
For that, I am eternally grateful to her!
They are both still as silly as ever, but the are so very smart!
I will do my best to be back on the computer later! If I fail at that, then I will make it up to everyone tomorrow!
I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAD A SATISFYING SATURDAY! I SURE COULD NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT MINE! THE FINAL DAY OF THIS FRISATSU STARTS TOMORROW!

I filled up half of my tank for $18, so it was well worth it and I went over and visited with them for well over an hour, and that was very nice too!

Jeff, you best fill up all you can with all you have cuz' these prices are heading your way. We have Shell near here at $7.02 for Regular gas. Why do we all have to suffer buying low-grade tar when we have more of the best Black Gold right under our feet? For half the cost we could sell it far less than Russia and the Arabic states. Crazy absolutely crazy. I suggest everyone have locking gas caps. Being a locksmith maybe you can offer some, eh?
Well my Trojans got a little too high and mighty too early and almost let Colorado back in the game. Caleb Williams really plays with such raw talent and looks so effortless when he plays. He's going to be a great QB in the NFL for sure. Give Colorado credit they gave them all they could handle. ...the second half. Couple upsets today may bring K-State back in the top 25.
Happy for you having some good old-fashioned American Mexican food at the Bell. I only buy Bean and Cheese burrito with green sauce if I ever go. Once every few years.
Small-town living is envious but sometimes people get too nosey. I prefer at least 20,000 in a city all spread out. Kind of like Cleburne or Haltom City in Texas. Anyhoo enjoy your Sunday. I am finally taking off on a Sunday. Been working 10-hour days and 6-7 a week, kind of wears on a man. The extra green is nice but health has to come first. Looking forward to working in the yard, tomorrow and picking some figs to dry out.

I tool advantage of $1.25 off a gallon yesterday and got half a tank of gas for $18. David! Got to take advantage f those deals when they come!
Those TB outings for me feed me three times, so well worth the money!
Small town for me is the best because I know a lot of them, and the others, I tend not to worry about too much!

Statistically Kansas has the lowest gas prices and California the highest.
There's many stations here at over $7+ a gallon. $8+ in the remote last gas for 45 miles type stations, really sticking folks.
They justify it by the fact people are buying less because they have an EV. Which by 2032 is a requirement here. By then we're outa here. Nobody is telling me what kind of car to drive.
If... big if we buy one. It will be a conscious decision we make. Not forced to make.
We'd like an EV-RV once they are available, and carry a good sized generator for charging emergencies ( still need gas for the ginny) unless there's an affordable solar generator. The one's available now are too expensive.
The gas RVs use so much gas isn't worth having when using only occasionally.
We really need to use what we have in the ground here for only our use.
2024 cannot come soon enough.
That's good to know, David! I knew that there was a reason that I have remained in this town for so long!
I understand the reasoning for EVs, but I highly doubt that EVs will gain traction anytime soon, no matter what the current regime says! Not enough power grid, charging stations, and EVs cannot go as far or do as much as they thought they could, and they are costing the automakers HUGE $$$ losses in manufacturing them.
A complete travesty, and way before their time, in my opinion!
If the regime allows us to have our fossil fuels back--which I believe that God put here for a reason--then we can get back to being energy independent once again!

I worked at the main manufacturing plant for Tesla. The electricity to operate the plant robots lighting etc monthly was more than your entire town combined.

It is still there, but since I can't eat much more than a plate, I am not spending $50 there at a pop! I can eat for two weeks on that at home!
Back in the day when I weighed 250 pounds it was. Now I am at 150 give or take a pound! What difference does it make? I eat what I choose to eat!

Almost THREE Cases, Nick! Inflation here in the US is at an all time high and has been for quite some time.
I have lots of things to eat here, but when Monica and I can eat at Sonic or Taco Bell for less than one person at a normal restaurant, then the money is better spent there.

There are fifteen 25 oz beers in there for $16--that incudes the tx! I also repurpose the cases and plastic for eBay shipments too!
